No offense! I thought it was funny anyway how I transported a RTT home in the first place. It was really cold and I didn't feel like messing with anything until I got home so they forklifted it right to my rack, I strapped it down and went...
snow traction is actually better when you have snow in your lugs. The snow in the lugs sticks to the snow on the ground and it essentially freezes to each other for traction...MT will shed the snow from the lugs and not provide the traction you need. Legit snow tires on a front wheel drive...
Yes, I will post pictures later today. It ended up costing a little more than planned. There were some hidden shipping and warehousing costs, but it came in right at $2000 with the services of a customs broker. You could learn to do it without the broker, but there is still a form that only...
I'm shocked you haven't had luck with customer service. I never had any issues with them. In fact their customer service is one of the best I have experienced. I spent over 2 hours with them the last time and never once got the impression that I was wasting their time or they were frustrated...
Only have about 3,000 miles on the latest one, but it has the new mother board supposedly...so far, so good. I have a 5,000+ road trip planned in a couple of months, so time will tell.
I think again, this conversation goes to driving style, road and weather conditions and maybe how you are actually calculating your mpgs. Before the Pulsar, I was getting 18 in my Rubi with 35's and no lift...I added the Pulsar pretty quick and bumped to 19+ fairly consistently until I added...
As far as calibration goes, when I ran my 35's I ended up set at about 33.8" or 33.9" for accurate speedo even though my tires measured 34.5" and with my 37's (36.5") I am set to like 35.5. If you guy a Rubicon with 33" it will likely be very close already if you add 35's...but not sure if that...
Yeah, I'm pretty sure the unlocked ECM can be seen by the dealership...obviously you can take it in with the stock tune loaded, but if they know what to look for, I think they can tell if the ECM is unlocked. That is a nice thing about the Pulsar, put it back to stock, remove it and the dealer...
I'm one of the guys with the Pulsar...I've talked about my experience in detail in several threads (search "programmer vs programmer" but here is a quick summary:
"I was one of the horror stories, but Edge/Superchips customer service is in my opinion one of the best. I am on my 3rd Pulsar...
I was one of the horror stories, but Edge/Superchips customer service is in my opinion one of the best. I am on my 3rd Pulsar (revision 3) and even had a try at the Traildash2 which was a nightmare for me. I put about 30,000 miles on the first two Pulsars and only a test drive on the TD2, I...
Also as others have stated, this is a enthusiasts forum, another thread on here mentioned that there are only about 2,000 members and over 77,000 Gladiators have been sold (I can't verify the numbers)...but you are right, the majority of the JT's are probably stock which makes me like my mods...
I snicker at stock Jeeps and just assume that everyone driving a stock Wrangler or JT is envious when they see mine...A Jeep is a personal statement. I have done performance mods on many cars, but never anything to the exterior form...Jeeps are unique and they should be unique to their owner...
