Running on stock Falken MT's right now. 37's in the same flavor are on order, expecting them next week. I'll do a write up later today on the lift and how it went. I did it in the driveway by myself and the instructions have some nuance to them.
I'm thinking I'm going to pair the alignment...
Anyone have any recommendations for a good alignment shop near west Denver. I'm looking for one with experience with Jeeps and lifts. Just installed my 2.5" Clayton Overland and everything seems to be good. Just want a second set of eyes, first Jeep, first lift solo installed.
Thanks!
I am not in front of it now, but no it does not seem to be contoured in any way. Maybe it's a smaller diameter thicker wall? Not sure though. Might want to confirm with @Clayton Off Road
Thanks @Clayton Off Road. Everything is here and arrived in perfect shape. Your sticker overhead must be insane!!!
Now... can I convince the wife to watch the two year old for a few uninterrupted days while I get dirty... ;). 2.5" Overland with Fox 2.0's
Size 11 Croc for size comparison...
So it happened to both gullwing doors when they were in direct sunlight on two different occasions. Probably 60F outside. Then it got cold and I decided to clean them. Pretty sticky stuff!!! Hasn't really warmed up enough to happen again and or gotten any direct sunlight, and haven't noticed any...
Had the same thing happen. Also in Colorado... seemed it was direct sunlight that did it. I have already contacted RSI and was instructed to submit a warranty claim by RSI NA. No response yet, They were out until today according to RSI NA.
Yeah I was thinking some unistrut would work, need to research the loading though. Accessing the bolts/nuts to tighten everything may be a barrier. Interested to see what people come up with.
@EWP I was thinking the exact same thing and was about to ask @RSI North America Inc the same question. I am leaning towards the ROAM Vagabond XL tent, and was going to ask them next.
People really need to chill on the HATE!
The rubber pad issue IS NOT HARD TO FIX!!! I assume RSI probably shipped a few extra pads in every shipment, I got (1) extra 1/8" and (2) extra 3/8" and it seems I got mine from the first shipment. Take the extra 1/8" pad, cut in half and glue it to each...
Personally, I liked mine further back where it looks close to flush with my tailgate. I found some 1/8" and 1/16" rubber gasket material at Ace and used that to lift my rear to 9/16"s and middle to 1/2", each time supergluing a square to the original 3/8" piece...
Can anyone give me a measurement on where you located the Tie Rod Steering Mount for the Clayton relocation Kit with the Fox shock? The instructions and video are for a Wrangler and it appears to be shorter... And yes I'm a newb...
They shipped with the topper. The 1/8" pads are longer and prevent the clamp from moving and scratching the topper. I took the extra 1/8" and cut in half and place underneath with the 1/2" pad. Once I'm convinced this will work I'll super glue the 1/8" pad to the 1/2" that came with tape already...
Installation took me 3 hrs and 20 mins by myself.
Boxes were in great shape, all parts accounted for. Side panels connected to the roof rather easily. The connections for the front and rear are a pain in the ass by yourself working on the floor. Daddy needs a back rub... Got it all done and...
Don't hate me.... A&A Toppers in Lakewood, CO is a Keystone distributor. I confirmed when I was there just now. I have no idea how they are prioritizing shipping and neither did A&A. I was their only recent Gladiator order though. There were other RSI Toppers in the shipment.
Jealously sitting here reading this thread, succumbed to the notion that I'll get my topper when I get it. Sent an email a week back to my local supplier and no response until this morning: "I have a e-mail sent over to my supplier to get an ETA. Once they let me know I will contact you"
Phone...
