I could have saved some money if I had found and read this thread,I just had the dealership install the Mopar controller, for the controller and install it was $600 I don't like messing with electrical that's why I had them do it

Do you have to connect wires to the engine like with the Banks derringer because I'm selling my banks tuner because I'm tired of having to remove it when I go in for service
My personal opinion is I would get a little smaller trailer,we have a Aspen trails 1950bh it weighs 4000# it tows very well with a weight distribution hitch I do not feel in the least bit unsafe and that is towing out west in the Rockies
Yes with more difficulty of course, hell's revenge really isn't that difficult you could do it pretty easy in a jtr Moab rim would be much harder I drug and scrapped a lot with a 4" lift and 38s
Coolant temperature never got above 224 trans temp max was 212 truck had plenty of power and pedal left going up the mountain but if I went faster than 52mph oil temps shot up
I got 14.9 mpg going down and 14.5 mpg coming back meaning a real world of approx 14 mpg towing a 4000lb trailer through the Rocky mountains very pleased with that
I made it down, mixed reviews going up Spanish fork canyon I had to slow down to 50 oil temps hit 247 and at 60mph it was hunting for gears bad what was almost worse was on flat ground at 60-65mph oil temps were 244 other than that it towed wonderfully and I averaged 15 mpg
