  1. How are you treating this chip?

I had a similar chip on the middle bottom edge of a windshield (but not a Jeep.) It sat in the sun for a day, and cracked right up the middle. Kevin

That's half the fun of forums: seeing what old thread will turn up next! Kevin
  5. UConnect and Phones

I get all the same weirdness on my 2021 with the 7" radio using a Carlinkit v.3 wireless Carplay adapter. I've used Carlinkit v.2, v.4 & v.5, and they're much the same as far as interfacing to the radio. And I've had the radio replaced, with little improvement. I'm gonna try one of the Teeran...

  7. Sport S stock wheel tire recs, please.

I've been very happy with the Bridgestone Dueler A/T RH-S tires, albeit in stock size. Good ride, good traction in all weather conditions, quiet. I haven't tried the Revo 3 variant. Kevin

  13. Using selec-speed control as poor-man’s lockers.

-You cannot react to slippage as fast as the traction control computer can. -The traction control system/anti-lock brakes have control over individual wheel braking: you don't. Just a couple of things to ponder... Kevin
  14. Using selec-speed control as poor-man’s lockers.

You may hate it, or prefer to attempt modulating the brake and throttle yourself, but going uphill in a foot of heavy, wet snow, at ~3mph, with no slippage or loss of control, made me a believer! Kevin
  15. Using selec-speed control as poor-man’s lockers.

@ShadowsPapa nicknamed it, "Duck Mode." It only actuates in 4Lo. I've used it with great results in snow. A word of caution: if you're high-centered, or don't have some traction, DO NOT try it: it'll run the throttle up trying to increase speed, and the wheels will just spin! Kevin
  16. LED Aux Light Integrated Front Skid Plate Concept

High grade stainless steel won't hold a magnet. A good quick way to test for stainless steel. Kevin
  17. JT 3Wliners window control module install.

I did some searching the other day, to no avail. You can try contacting 3WLiners (I contacted him in the past through eBay) and see what’s up. Or try a generic module and fabricate your own harness. Kevin
