  1. Clutch Recall (2/23/23): Clutch Pressure Plate May Overheat -- Affecting 70,000 Manual Jeep Wranglers and Gladiators

I'm guessing this is too new for it to have our VINs inputted. Mine still shows the other 2 but not this newest one.
  2. Clutch Recall (2/23/23): Clutch Pressure Plate May Overheat -- Affecting 70,000 Manual Jeep Wranglers and Gladiators

I still have not gone in for my 1st clutch recall. When they actually have some upgraded parts I'll take it in for all 3. I'm actually glad to see this, maybe 3rd times a charm.
  3. JT a sales failure & doomed to same fate as the Scrambler?

Remember back to the launch Jeep has always said they imagined the JT to be a higher priced product vs the competition at the sacrifice of being a huge seller. That was intentional. If they start seeing massive declines in sales they may entertain abandoning the JT, but they always knew that the...
  4. Terra Acoustics Front Soundstage (Speaker upgrade)

I don't have the Alpine stereo in mine and just the 7" radio. I found these a huge improvement over the base speakers. I got on the waitlist in September, got my link to purchase right after Thanksgiving and received them before Christmas. I have no regrets on buying them. It does suck it takes...
  5. Death Wobble settlement agreement in class-action case could mean reimbursement for some Jeep owners

There is a TON of extremely good info here. It is by far the best source of factual knowledge on the JT. It seemed at launch it was way more facts and less opinion fluff stuff in the posts but it is still an invaluable resource today. It's funny because it's been almost 4 years but it just does...
  6. Mopar Performance Windshield Wipers w/ Built-In Washer Jets Released For Jeep Gladiator

I bought them as a grommet kit on Amazon. And I used a 27/64 drill bit for the holes. Idk what the best plan for where the holes to go is, but inline seemed best. Brexxty Pack of 180 Rubber Grommet Kit in 8 Sizes – Rubber Wire Grommets with Compact Assortment Box for Wiring, Plumbing, Hardware...
  7. What weight gear oil???

Yes it's not very frequent. I do my T-case the same time as I do my transmission fluid though every 2 years. Mine will be due for it again in October. I didn't realize until I was almost at 30k miles that you even had to change the transmission fluid but you do on the 6 speeds. I do the axles...
  8. PUNK'N Gladiator JT Club

Well let's see it after you're done with it. I love the front of these Jeeps.
  9. Diesel gladiator snorkel

I bought the Hauk because it looked pretty badass compared to the competition. That and it didn't run externally where a tree would rip off a plastic snorkel. It looks a little goofy with the full extension but it looks a lot better than the big plastic ones. At least I think so. It's too bad...
  10. PUNK'N Gladiator JT Club

From that angle it looks just like my Rubicon did from the factory save the Rubicon add ons. It's cool its a Max Tow. Probably aren't many of those around in Punk'n.
  11. PUNK'N Gladiator JT Club

Were you able to find a new one leftover or did you buy used? It's an awesome color for sure.
  12. What weight gear oil???

This was a lot brother, tell us how you really feel lol. No offense taken ever I know you're trying to help and teach in an eat your vegetables sort of way. I'm never one to dismiss someone who has legitimate points, experience, and is willing to share it. I will say this is the first vehicle...
  13. Mopar Performance Windshield Wipers w/ Built-In Washer Jets Released For Jeep Gladiator

I didn't know this thread was still alive and well. But I've had my hoses get cut so many times I finally did the new hole/grommet thing. Hopefully this fixes it's wagon. I've had to reconnect the hoses probably 5 times since receiving the kit. Don't know it of course until you're blowing washer...
  14. What weight gear oil???

I have read the gasket is reusable. I know I should be pulling the covers off but boy do I just adore having fill and drain plugs on this thing. Makes servicing the axles just that much cleaner.
  15. Death Wobble settlement agreement in class-action case could mean reimbursement for some Jeep owners

I've never had DW like I had in my WJ. It was a nice car for the time, I loved the V8 in it, but it had DW bad. The dealer was always just one repair away from a fix when we sold it. It would happen at any speed and was uncontrollable. We had it in so many times it was ridiculous. I've never...
  16. Upcoming Competition: 2024 Tacoma design revealed all around! ?

They had that frame recall right around then too IIRC. I remember going in for an oil change and they had a pile of frames being tossed from that recall. Crazy stuff putting a new frame on 10+ year old trucks. Those owners got a ton of free work and parts. I loved my Tacomas. But once they...
  17. Upcoming Competition: 2024 Tacoma design revealed all around! ?

The 2.7 is a bulletproof engine that has few issues and lasts forever. Toyota pickups since inception are best with 4 cylinders, 5 speeds, and 4wd. I always heard guys tales of woe and regret when buying the 3.5. I had a guy at a gas station in late 2015 (both with our newly ordered/received...
  18. Hauk River Raider Snorkel

I've got one. It's too bad they screwed so many people over. I kept recommending them and people were getting mad about it. But I love the snorkel itself, well thought out and a good design. No gimmicky plastic extruding beyond the body. It was designed by someone who actually offroads down...
  19. Upcoming Competition: 2024 Tacoma design revealed all around! ?

Is it different? Yes. Is it wildly different than the outgoing? No. This would not sway me from buying the new iteration over the old. I love Tacomas. We ordered our then new '16 in September 2015. Loved that little pickup. Maybe some new powertrain would convince someone. But my '16 we ordered...
