  1. Punk’n Color Returns For 2023 Jeep Gladiator

They should have kept the 4 launch colors free. Sucks you have to pay for anything other than just the one "standard" color, and why is it white? Never understood it on Harleys either. Bunch of blood suckers.
  2. Punk’n Color Returns For 2023 Jeep Gladiator

I know I'm really late to this posting, but last time Punk'n was around, it was free. As were all colors. Now what is the "standard" color you get free? White? Black? There has to be at least one color that is free.
  3. Rock hit to headlight... :(

Back in the day I was an A+P. A fairly common repair was plexiglass Cessna windshields. Back then to fill a crack you had to cut out the crack, cut out a patch, and glue it in. I haven't heard of anything you can fill in with. Maybe some kind of new epoxy, I haven't kept up on new methods or...
  4. Rock hit to headlight... :(

These headlights use what's called permaseal. Because as is implied, it's meant to be a fairly permanent seal. If you're feeling up to trying, you could buy a set of halogens, cut one of the lenses off, and silicone it onto yours. I haven't messed with the OEM LEDs, so I don't know if the...
  5. PUNK'N Gladiator JT Club

Someone has to keep them alive. I actually commend Ford on their 7 speed in the Bronco. I'd love another gear if it ever became available to Jeeps.
  6. PUNK'N Gladiator JT Club

It was interesting reading the last recall notice production #s. I calculated 5% of JL production was manual. For JTs it was right about 4%. Manuals are pretty rare. Hopefully the new clutches feel better.
  7. PUNK'N Gladiator JT Club

As far as I can tell that is correct. They're cramming it into the end of the '23 production to keep it an exclusive color, and to help boost '23 sales before the refresh I'm sure.
  8. PUNK'N Gladiator JT Club

I'm reading conflicting reports but they're either available in September or being painted in September idk which. But after parts are painted and if nothing else is holding it up its usually built in a day, few weeks to ship. Mine was built mid August and I took it home in late September.
  9. PUNK'N Gladiator JT Club

I've owned both a '15 and a '16 Taco. The seating position in Jeeps is infinitely better. My wife thought the 4.0/6speed was the strongest runner of them all. But the biggest difference for me was the seats are much higher off the floor.
  10. PUNK'N Gladiator JT Club

This is the thing I was most bummed about Punk'n coming back. Except for the introductory vehicle they used to launch the Mojave at the 2020 Chicago Auto Show, there were no Punk'n Mojaves. It was a good distinguishing feature Rubicons had that Mojaves didn't. Now there will be a handful of...
  11. Anybody seen this?

Man 5-8 weeks and all you get is $500? That's not even a set of shocks. If it was 2500 I'd consider it.
  12. Building my own flush tail lights

Dude! That's fantastic. Awesome work man. What were you unhappy with?
  13. Building my own flush tail lights

Here I am about to unload this 4wheeler when I think, how are these taillights coming along? It'll be sweet to not have them poking out anymore.
  14. Building my own flush tail lights

Not only do they look better and are truly a unique piece, but none of the others have a sequential function. That is going to just be really freaking cool. I know for some it's gimmicky and won't care about that function, but I think it's super cool.
  15. Building my own flush tail lights

I think your latest version is superb. I like the full wrap around LED strip.
  16. Alaska

Man this thread has really died. Been a couple years, nobody has done anything Alaskan in their Gladiators? I won't say I have either really beyond a couple beach and glacier excursions. I haven't even taken any pictures of anything I have been up to other than when I wash the thing in the...
  17. Building my own flush tail lights

That looks awesome man. I wasn't expecting paper thin, that doesn't seem overly large to me.
  18. Building my own flush tail lights

Nothing you make could be bulkier than what came on them. The OEM style lights are pretty ridiculously huge and afterthoughtedly added. Did you mount them up and see what your latest version looks like? It couldn't possibly be more cumbersome than what we're running now.
  19. Building my own flush tail lights

I mean my breather hoses go from the axles to the snorkel. I'm not too concerned about having to run a wire, could probably run it with the factory loom to the back. Splicing off the trailer harness would be easier than that I agree. No problem for me.
