Not everyone goes off-roading where that could happen. In fact you have just a good of chance getting side swiped in a parking lot and having your mirror taken off as you do getting it taken off during an off road jaunt. I know because I’ve taken enough reports for it.
A pillar mounted mirrors so every time we take the doors off we don’t have to slap on some other half a$$ mirrors that either cost more than they should or flop around like a pair of granny panties on the clothesline when you hit 50mph. Minor inconvenience, yes. Should it be, no.
One of the cleanest installs that I have seen. I've been trying to figure out how to run a USB charger to that center portion of the dash and you, my good sir, just showed me the way. I know someone else here on the forum actually tapped into the media hub behind the dash so they would still...
13 and some change USMC and then another 5 during OIF and OEF teaching the Army MP’s how to shoot. *No violations of OPSEC have occurred during this post.
Used an impact and had no problems. Only problem I had during install was the need to use a step up bit to make the holes in the pinch weld a little larger to match up with the holes on the slider.

I ordered them from 4 wheel parts. A lot of people said they had been back ordered, etc. I actually ordered mine after another forum member here and got mine weeks before him. I would definitely call around to places as I’m sure there updated inventory isn’t reflected on the website.
Im glad I went with these versus the JRC half doors. It’s nice to be able to throw them in the bed and toss them back on whenever I need. Will run them until it gets cold out.
They do take some adjusting and fitment to get them to seal up properly. So far I haven’t had any rain come inside when...
You should not need to replace the drive shaft with 2.5”. I believe it’s only need for 3” or greater due to the amount of flex you receive from their 3.5” GC. There’s some more accurate information out there posted by @WhatExit? in another thread. I just don’t recall where it is at.
I don’t know what the stock coil length is. If you are worried about sag, triple rate springs would help. I would call Clayton and MC and see what they have to say.
