Towed the aliner expedition ~3k pounds for awhile until the kids outgrew the front twin xl. Was super easy towing with the low height no wdh needed.
Now we recently moved to a 19.8 No Boundaries, ~4.3k pounds. Still pulls well but definitely needs a wdh
Looks like Jeep has posted its sales figures and they're not too bad. Most interesting thing to me is that 4xe now makes up half of the Wrangler sales. Told my wife this and she said she's not surprised, she doesnt care about electric, she just doesnt want to be slow lol.
Jeep Wrangler 4xe...
Paper towels are your friend here. Put some in the door seals at the bottom, one up under the dash, some around the windshield, look for the towel that is wet or shows signs of being wet at one time after the hard rain, should really help you find the cause.
Yeah, i'd be contacting stellantis as well, this seems like it got dropped somewhere along the way and bent the C's (or the C's were welded wrong). You've been complaining about the same issue since the start so it should be noted in the records that this isnt new.
Spidertrax and bora are kind of the gold standards. No issues I know of with synergy either, but don't cheap out and also make sure you recheck torque as recommended.
2024 was a mid-cycle refresh with a new interior, and some modest upgrades. The 2023 price will definitely influence the 24 price, but the 24 is also available 7-8% under invoice so it's not as huge of a gap as you think.
You are also thinking short term, once the 23 fire sale is over and...
Isnt the 2.8 fairly anemic? Unless i'm looking at the wrong one, published specs have it being woefully underpowered for a midsize truck at 160 hp, 310 ftlbs of torque. That should put the gladiators 0-60 in approximately never seconds with a load.
Personally I'd like a non-plugin hybrid 3.6 with a battery about 4-5 kwh, and the same electric power adders as the 4xe. Less battery weight and lots more power for what will be more or less the same MPG we currently get.
One thing always lost in these hybrid discussions is how much power...
It's not weight, it's aero. The jeep coefficient is so horrendous that any motor will do significantly worse in it than in something else. The ram on the other hand has excellent aero with front spoiler, way lower, unexposed tires. Just compare the ram 3.6 vs the gladiator and you'll see the...
The mojave shock bolt is bigger than the standard JT, thats the only thing that makes the shocks "not for mojave". If there is a pair of shocks you want the easiest thing is just to ream the eyelet or if the shock uses bushings, replace the bushing for the bigger bolt, problem solved.
Fox makes tons of OEM shocks that are fantastic, sxs, Raptors, Toyotas all have off road spec fox shocks that are long lasting and great reputation as well as great ride.
Mopar just gave some really shitty valve specs this time. In fact bds and fox took back all the Mopar spec valve'd shocks...
