I've not been super impressed with the Mojave ride from factory after driving my father's quite a bit vs my modded Rubicon and the wife's wrangler. It's fine but I didn't think it was some mind blowing far and away amazing ride for normal street use. The hydro bumps and the bypass will help on...
It is the late model and it still has shitty articulation.
I did retract the statement saying all colorado trails, there is definitely hard shit there and I apologize to Colorado. Much of the popular stuff though is not exactly hard or challenging just remote and scenic was what I was trying to...
I watch them struggle-bus over florida obstacles (which are sad and pathetic) that the jeep does with out user input. When I say good at off roading I mean I can take to windrock and not get stuck on the service roads lol. I am not talking about over landing they do the boring shit just fine, I...
So it will suck at off roading except for fire trails and sand, sounds horribly lame.
If thats shit they're going to give us they shouldn't even bother making a gladiator, just sell dakotas.
Our gladiator is definitely more leg room than the 4xe wrangler we have. I can fit things in better when packing for camping than in the wrangler I believe it's more the angle of the seat.
On paper they supposedly have the same leg room, the wrangler has more hip room, and the gladiator more...
What kind of driving do you do? Stock Mojave shocks are bypass shocks that shine at big bumps at high speed. If you are doing a lot of that kind of driving then you'll need bypass shocks. If that's not what you're doing then the question becomes what kind of ride do you like and what kind of use...
It's been so many years I honestly don't remember the exact number. I want to say labor was around 500 an axle and parts are what parts are, he let me bring my own Dana Spicer.
Payload is vastly underrated in most American trucks if all you are talking about is doing occasional heavy hauls on short trips around town. Max payload is supposed to be something the vehicle can handle say in and day our with out issue and at it's intended purpose which is a much different...
Ill try not to comment on the quality of a rough country lift but, find out whether they measure 3.5 from the front or the back. Most likely they measure from the front which means 3.5 inches up front and less in the rear.
Unless you are constantly cruising highway at high speeds, you won't really notice an mpg hit unless you start hitting the boot harder cause it's more fun off the line. That said, unless you need new gears I wouldn't bother going 1 step up from 4.10 to 4.56, will barely be noticeable at a fairly...
What sucks about both hoods is the extra height of them. I really don't like the loss of visibility around each since they're the taller hoods, plus less accessories fit.
Jlu rear axle requires different bracketry FYI, it's doable but won't just be bolt on and may just be easier to sell yours and buy a take off that fits
