Just pull the battery cable and the fuse, get rid of the aux and get a tazer or something to eliminate the stop start. If you do it that way you can keep warranty as all you have to do is reconnect the battery cable and put the fuse back in.
If you were getting the dash freakout most likely...
I guess you were technically right(the best kind of right lol) that it didn't reach production but the 4xe was very real, just couldn't make the technical work with the batteries towing to give it a decent rating. Mules were out there and photographed, all the research money was spent, but they...
We literally have someone with a stellantis badge in here that has confirmed that it was only cancelled due to towing running the batteries flat and not able to keep them charged. If not we'd have gotten a 4xe gladiator this year but the technical constraint killed it.
You realize that it was only not made because they couldn't get the towing right and that they had all the mules and such for it. So while you were right that it didn't get officially made it wasn't because it was vapor ware or not seriously attempted. Just a technical constraint.
The AT4W is a top tire in the at category as well as the Baja boss. Those are generally considered to be best in class by a lot of folks, myself included after running both on different vehicles. I also love the general grabber atx and got a ton of miles out of them very happily. If you want an...
The sidewalls just weren't stiff enough for the weight of the truck, you could feel it roll over on to the sidewall mid corner which is why it inspired no confidence, just a wallowing crap tastic tire. I'm sure their other stuff is fine but that metric 34 was trash even pumped to its max pressure
Hit a bump and you could finally break the axle tube out. Id not drive on this unless absolutely necessary.
Maybe time for an ultimate 44 or 60 depending on tire size
I think there are actually quite a lot of us that don't care for them. My nittos were hands down the worst tires I've ever had. I had a set of terra grapplers and they were so bad that no one would ride in the truck with me as they just had no lateral grip even in mild corners and just gave a...
It adjusts based on the drag it senses vs normal. Towing the a liner basically no change, towing the nobo it holds gears way longer, goes to redline more often accelerating, doesn't try to shift to an over drive gear etc. it's actually a pretty smart programming if a bit aggressive
I towed a 3k pound a liner that tucked in nice and tight behind the truck with it not being taller than the bed and I could fly with that thing and not notice it, but the camper empty is only a few hundred pounds heavier and it's a real drag haha
Ill see 4k rpms towing regularly, but it's a 7.5' wide camper and I'm on 38s with 5.13s. it's all about the aero and not the weight, small low and not that wide doesn't do much but throw in that tall wide front and even light campers will be felt.
4 auto transfer cases require them. They're also typically stronger than u-joints but the boot can be a downside. Our boots on the 4xe have proven very durable at 50k miles of mixed use.
I know a few people with the MTs and they like them a lot but say they're soft and wear somewhat quick. I do not know anyone with the ATs which id think is a different compound.
