  1. E88 Unleaded Fuel?

I was gonna say things have changed a lot since I lived up there. It was usually a little cheaper than Florida. E85 will give you a about 27% less mpg. If it's at least 27% cheaper than gas and your engine can run it, go for it, it'll save you money. Usually it's only like 25% cheaper or less...
  2. Going to 37s eventually, What steering upgrades are mandatory?

No need to flip at 2.5 inches of height will just cause more problems than what it will fix. I've run 37s, then 39s, and now 38s over the last for years and hands down the Bst mod I did for 37s+ was 5.13s. So much better having torque down low. What parts do you NEED? Nothing really the stock...
  3. E88 Unleaded Fuel?

    Is that current gas prices?
  4. Towing question

West coast wheeling i think the PW is a great choice, east coast even the gladiator is a bit chonky. Too many damn trees everywhere :D
  5. Towing question

I was at about 1200 feet of elevation as I was heading to TN and I mentioned 8% grade specifically because anything above 6% is rare. Quick search shows that the Grand Mesa road is about 6% at the steepest section so it would be comparable to what I was doing because of the extra steepness of...
  6. E88 Unleaded Fuel?

E15 is about 2% less mpg than e10. So if it's more than 2% cheaper, go for it.
  7. Changes to BOH

Just checked the app and it says they will be adding new trails this year, it also listed all the ones they're removing. The florida one is just a sand road, pretty sure its only there because florida is one of the biggest jeep markets so they have something for all the mall crawlers to run.
  8. Changes to BOH

I wonder how much of it is that these trails also arent run that often and they are cutting cost by not stocking those badges anymore. I do know some trails should be de-listed because they've become impassable or are basically buggy only though after years and years of the initial cut.
  9. Towing question

Oh come on, that's a huge exaggeration. I was able to do 40 on an 8% grade on 38s with beadlocks and a giant lift albeit the pedal was floored but 8% is pretty steep. I also averaged 10.2 mpg from Florida to TN doing 63-65 the whole way there. I will say the second part is right though. Only...
  10. Towing question

I have the real offroad gladiator, the Rubicon;), so it's 7k. But I also have 38s and 5.13s and a Clayton lift. Nobo is 3950 dry, probably 4500ish as loaded. Tongue weight of 500lbs+ hitch. The Mojave is only lower rated because it has softer springs but with a good weight distribution hitch...
  11. Towing question

Should be fine, remember the tow ratings are up a steep dam in over 100 degrees weather fairly slowly though. The engine will scream up longer hills, you won't win any races, and you'll definitely know it's back there but it will do it just fine imo. We have a nobo 19.8 which is 4800 max weight...
  12. I spent a week with the Hurricane I6

The 3.6 is 19.8 inches long, the i6 is 33 inches. Unless you are measuring an extra foot, it's not gonna fit, it's almost 5 inches longer than the 392 which basically used up all the available space. Obviously you can make almost anything fit, but it's not just some motor mounts and call it good.
  13. Selec Trac full time 4WD once standard on Sport Models

I question if they're really "experienced expert jeep owners" if they are saying that. That's literally saying that you don't need 4wd much because you have traction control (which is all BLD actually is). Maybe they're saying that you don't need an LSD as much because of bld, but that would...
  14. Selec Trac full time 4WD once standard on Sport Models

The bld on the jeep is probably the best I've seen, better than Toyota select trac for sure as I off-road with 2 of them, but it's still just a computer locking the brake on one side to try to send power to the other side. It is no replacement for an LSD or a locker as it's not really designed...
  15. Selec Trac full time 4WD once standard on Sport Models

I'll mention that you should NOT use 4auto on loose off-road surfaces as the clutches can overheat. Jeep recommends shifting to 4hi instead so that the clutches lock up and stay connected. We keep our 4xe in 4a always as its the only way to get full torque and HP output on it. If not you get...
  16. Front CV axle part #/fitment...?

Anything pre-24(I don't know when the switch specifically was but my dad's new 23 was u joints)that didn't have full-time 4wd transfer case had u-joints.
  17. Prices collapsing on new (and used)

So much this, it's like people forgot how buying a car worked pre-2022. I remember expecting a minimum of 10% off any new car and on trucks 15% was the usual starting point for negotions and that was just business as usual, not during an economic dump. The issue with cars is the same as houses...
  18. Rear frame support and stiffener

Where its bending isnt really einforced on the mojave. The mojave got some additional welding in the rear, not actual extra plate or thickness. This is bending the actual frame which is the same there. That said, I still doubt this is being bent from normal wear and tear and is more of the go...
  19. Max Tow 4xE

I dont care about EV range, I just want the higher HP and Torque, especially if it comes in yellow (real hella'yella, not pastel highlighter low velocity yellow)
