Water, dirt, mud. There is a reason OEM mounts them high along with other SC manufactures. You lose an alternator you lose everything.

Having to lower the alternator for me is not a good idea.

I have never heard that sound from shocks, it sounds like wood being sawed. I`m at a lost the only thing i can think is that the shocks have no oil in them.

Another thought, do you have a 37" spare? if so it could be making contact with the track bar and making the squeaking noise.

I have RK shocks and they are quite. The shocks have no springs so there should be no noise from the shocks. Try putting a little oil on the shafts and see if that makes a difference.

From what i hear diesel will be over $5 a gallon soon. Yesterday i filled up my F250 and diesel was $4.49 a gallon it cost me over $150.00 to fill up. with the next diesel tax $6 a gallon is possible.
