Get some golf tees and plug every hole in the bed before you take it to LineX. It'll save you the trouble of having to clean all the gunk out of the holes after. (They're lazy and they don't bother to do it for you.)
In Florida...
No thanks. The sun is way too intense to go without a roof, and Florida or not, I don't get the enjoyment of all the wind blasting you in the face when the doors are off. For a short cruise around local roads or on a trail or something, sure. But daily driving? Eff no.
For posterity, here's what I've learned so far:
Taking the cover off of the seat is not hard at all. Pull two small push clips holding the fabric and leather into the top of the seat near the pull handle, pull the plastic channel apart at the base of the seat, fish the ends of the zippers out...
Basically, title. Is it possible to change this from my seat to another seat of the same?
Another #floridaman and I traded seats today (black leather for gray leather), but we both forgot that the rear seat locks are keyed to our own fobs.
Just curious if anyone has any pointers for taking...
Dude I swear, someday I'm going to just rip the whole soundbar apart and stuff the whole goddamn thing with sound-deadening material (whatever that may be).
Plastic is fine, but it shouldn't have room to wiggle.
Dude, relax. No one around here takes "mall crawler" as a serious insult. There are plenty of us, myself included.
The reason social media and the internet are cesspools is people getting bent out of shape over dumb shit.
I find the first claim about the spare not fitting highly suspect. The majority of the community seems to agree that you can get a 35" tire under there, and some 37" depending on brand and PSI. I wouldn't worry about the spare mounting whatsoever. The claw or whatever the hell it's called just...
I guess I hadn't thought about how being pointed at the ground would make a difference, but it makes sense on some level.
As for the clearance, that's debateable on these ones. The single occupies more or less the same vertical space as the side exits once they're installed, the single is just...
Other than the obvious fact that there are more exhaust tips, is there any big difference either in sound quality, sound volume, or airflow performance from having a single exhaust tip vs multiples?
I have had my eye on a Borla ATAK for a while, but they have so many configurations that it's...
I vote the AEV route for several reasons.
You bought a Rubicon, so you already paid for an upgraded suspension. Buying the Mopar kit for a Rubicon is at least a little bit wasteful if you aren't seriously concerned about the performance of the shocks themselves (which it doesn't sound like you...
Well, your transmission is programmed based on a lot of inputs, but two of the main ones are your 1) current speed and 2) wheel RPM. When you change tire size, you're changing how many RPM are required to maintain a certain speed.
You don't have to reprogram anything about the transmission...
