I’m running that Eezi-Awn cab rack and no way I’d run it with only 2-feet per side seem crazy to show it that way. I’m down with the tray bed though.
My questions and comments:
Did you install the lift?
Have you retorqued your trackbar (most likely culprit)?
what wheels and tires are you running and at what air pressure?
have you had them balanced?
been wheeling and bent anything (tie rod)?
had an alignment completed? If so what are...
Did you document the fact it was loose with the dealer?
If so, stick a socket on it and see if it will tighten down.
I installed my ACE sliders by myself in less than an hour. It was an ultra simple job with hand tools no impacts. I’m guessing they got scared when the bolt was almost out but...
not to argue but a “pro” will get your wheel no more center than you could with an OBD JScan, socket set, and channel locks. Then you can make a lot of tweaks on your own.
Centering the wheel cannot be done as a once and done. Not going to happen. You need to get it close (+\- 3*) then drive...
I Had the squeak. Barely noticeable. I run mostly Synergy components because they’re made in the ole USA. An angle grinder and a flap disk clearances the mount about 1/16”. Took longer to plug it in but to each his own.
The quality of Eezi-Awn is tough to beat. I’ve also ran a lot of tents (ARB,CVT, Tepui, Roofnest, GoFSR, Eezi and probably a few others). I prefer the fold out style for a number of reasons but the hard shells seem to be the norm for now.
