On road ride in a capable off road setup was the main reason I got the Mojave.
It just feels well sorted out. It's got relatively soft springs and relatively heavy damping.
Between the extra height at the front and the high fenders I can run 35s with no lift, no rubbing, and it doesn't look...
The Gladiator needs a new motor. It needs a gas motor that gives the effortless power and torque of the diesel.
The obvious answer is a turbo engine in the 3.0 liter range.
This is not an off road community. It's a single vehicle community.
The some are off roaders, some are aspiring off roaders, some want to put 22s and 30 series tires on it.
I personally have no use for any info on any wheels over 17 inches. But to each his own.
I use my Gladiator for light...
One benefit of the big inverter is you can run a "real" compressor that you bring with you only when you are off road that will blow away the big dollar Gucci branded compressors for pennies on the dollar.
I've played around with this and it will run off the onboard inverter, but is slow...
I haven owned Falken Wildpeaks and BFG K02s. I've also done a ton of research on the General Grabber AT.
I think the OP will be happy with any of them.
My Falkens were great in the snow. Surprisingly good. I can't comment on the K02s because I now have a set of dedicated Nokian snow tires...
Your dealer is being lazy. Tires are warrantied by the manufacturer but the dealer is supposed to be a representative.
You can go to any tire shop that is a dealer for your brand of tire. You will also probably get a better response.
Whenever people make financial decisions there are 2 factors.
1) what is strictly optimal from a purely financial perspective.
2) what makes us feel comfortable. I saw this when I worked at the dealer mostly with people choosing to put money down even when it didn't make financial sense, in...
You are actually making my point for me. They look blue to people on the outside because they are REFLECTING the blue light back.
What you see when you are wearing them, is light that has had the blue filtered and reflected, not passed on to your eyes.
So yes. All those sunglasses have it...
Often it just makes financial sense to finance. If your investments are earning more than 2.9% then you are better off financing it all and leaving the money invested.
This is doubly true if you own your own business and would rather have the capital to invest into the business.
Back when...
If you have a blue tint, you are actually ENHANCING glare. Blue light is what causes glare because it refracts more. If you want to reduce glare you have to absorb blue light which will give it more of a brown or vermilion tint.
The wide angle looks great.
I drove a Willys when I first was shopping for aGladiator and the tires were HORRIBLE.
I got a Mojave with Falken Wildpeak ATs and they were very quiet for an off road tire. MUCH MUCH quieter than the mudders that come on a Willys.
I've since picked up a set of take-off Wrangler Xtreme...
A quick search on tirerack.com gave me several passenger car touring tires in 285/70-17
MICHELIN DEFENDER LTX M/S

GOODYEAR WRANGLER FORTITUDE HT

Nope. The shorter the note, the less important the interest rate.
Lets run similar numbers except $50k financed for 36 months
at 8.3% Payment = $1573/month. Of which $1388 is principal and $184 is interest.
At 5% Payment = $1498/month. Of which $1388 is principal and $109 is interest.
That is MUCH more than I would ever spend. But absolutely totally understand where/how the $11,000 number came up.
If you want a cheapie $399 installed hack job, then fine.
Otherwise expect to pay $100/hr for custom work and this job would have required a lot of custom work. It looks...
It's such a totally different look that it's hard to offer an opinion.
I can tell you that if you do decide to go with the Black Rhinos, you should consider the Quadratic Rubicon Extreme. It looks pretty much the same, is dirt cheap, and gets great review.
I posted a thread on this and...
This is wrong. Like I showed above, it's not a few k worth of interest. It's a few hundred. Your comparison should be "how much MORE " are you paying vs a good market rate loan at ~5%. It works out to about $75/month extra.
You are thinking like it's a 360 month mortgage, where most of the...
I haven't read all the posts, but that rate is ABSOLUTELY not what Chrysler Financial is offering.
I worked as a Finance Manager at a new car dealer. There is a buy rate and a sell rate. My guess is that their buy rate is in the 3% range.
But let's do some math and see how much this...
I agree with a lot of this. Ford's options are limited in how they can punish dealers.
However, they have much more leeway when it comes to offering positive incentives. I haven't seen an analysis of teh contracts being offered to dealers for EV sales, but I'd be willing to bet that it...
