I just stumbled on this thread and agree with everyone's comments regarding the fact that this is a con game.
Especially correct is ShadowPapa's explanation of the law of conservation of energy.
But - and this is a big butt.
If this was implemented in a very sophisticated way (not...
Power is a function of torque and RPM.
The Challenger's higher HP engine is designed to make peak torque higher up in the rev range. So it makes more power. Power = force (torque) x speed (RPM)
It's a matter of tuning the engine to its intended use.
Does anyone really think an engine that...
It exists. It's called the Automatic Transmission.
When I'm towing,If I'm on the highway I'll actually use the manual function in the AT and pick a gear that feels right. By that, the highest gear that lets the truck maintain speed up hills without having to townshift. So it depends on the...
There isn't any parasitic loss if the TCM decides to lock the torque converter. It unlocks it when it benefits you. Bottom line is the AT is like an MT where you can slip the clutch as much as you want to get the motor into its power.
The Gladiator is only the 2nd AT vehicle I've owned in...
Every Gladiator I drove except for teh Mojave, the tail would step out a bit going around a certain turn that I live near. The compliance of the Mojave, even with AT tires is very good.
Painting Mojave wheels is like trying to polish a turd.
Underneath it all, it's still a boring and ugly Mojave wheel.
I put my snow tires on my Mojave wheels and bought another set for summer use.
I have a Sunrider and it's absolutely the best accessory I've bought for my Jeep.
But a clear freedom panel would be awesome for winter time. The single piece wouldn't be a problem because I would just wasp it off in the spring and on in the late fall.
I test drove a base truck, Willys, Rubicon and Mojave.
The Willys had the absolute worst road manners of all of them. Next was the Rubicon, next was the base truck on minivan tires, and finally the Mojave was the best.
If you don't care about a decent on-road ride, and the Willys ticks all...
This is a piece of cake compared to autonomous on road driving. The engineering is all about physics. Easy stuff.
Off road, it doesn't have to deal with cyclists darting into traffic, or unmarked traffic circles. It's just about avoiding stationary objects and picking a line that will not...
It looks like with some 70 series tires it may be excellent off road.
Minimal overhangs
Reasonable wheel base.
Amazing 15 inches !!! of ground clearance stock, when its suspension is raised all the way up...
Fire extinguishers mounted inside a vehicle on a mount incapable of containing it when it experiences 200G of acceleration in an accident, at which point a 10 lb fire extinguisher will pull against its mount with 2000 lb of force. There is a reason that most racing organizations now ban...
How are you getting that much torque out of an LS3?? It's more than an LT1 which stock for stock normally has much more torque than a LS3 with variable cam timing. It's no big deal for an LS3 to make that kind of power, but it usually makes it by turning faster. Not by putting up big torque...
I'm sure they would be fine if you also explained that after the war, Germany has stood shoulder to shoulder with us defending against Communism and that German industry is the greatest in Europe and is vital to the defense of Europe. All of Europe.
You did something to the master cylinder. If you screwed up something at the wheel side, the problem wouldn't be obvious in normal driving because all modern cars have a dual circuit system. So even if the front brakes fail completely, the rears are good.
So for something to impact both the...
