  1. Stay away from 6MT

Psst. If you have a diesel, the entire drivetrain is made in Italy.
  2. $20.00 Reverse Lights

Thank you. I didn't know that.
  3. Constructive feedback requested - Used Gladiator Pricing

Thank you for the explanation. A total engine swap makes total sense given all of that.
  4. Constructive feedback requested - Used Gladiator Pricing

You have painted yourself into a corner in that you have a very personalized vehicle that isn't going to have broad appeal. I'd be surprised if 5% of the total Gladiator used market would buy a supercharged truck with a replacement engine. I think it would have been better once you bought the...
  5. Wireless Car Play (iphone)

Do you know of a MagSafe charger that works with bulletpoint??
  6. $20.00 Reverse Lights

I'm clearly missing something. How do you get reverse lights off of a trailer connector? Don't trailer connectors just provide tail/running, signal, brake lights?
  7. Stay away from 6MT

Something to remember for clutch longevity. 1) the clutch doesn't wear when the pedal is all the way out. 2) the clutch doesn't wear when the pedal is all the way in. 3) Everything in between, the clutch is wearing. Once a clutch begins to slip with the pedal all the way out, there is...
  8. Lost my key. What is the best way to replace it.

Thanks for this detailed response. buying and having an aftermarket fob that looks just like a Jeep Fob is going to run me about $100 less. So I now have a decision to make.
  9. Stay away from 6MT

You aren't one of those people who believes that Ukraine is full of Nazis and their invasion was justified, are you?? We can debate what the appropriate response should be but to suggest that it is justified demonstrates a fundamental misunderstanding of reality.
  10. $20.00 Reverse Lights

Nicely done. Tell me more about the wiring. Do they come on automatically or with a switch? You mentioned tapping into trailer lights. I didn't think trailer lights had a reverse light lead? I was thinking of something like this but planning to use a scotch lock on one of the existing...
  11. Stay away from 6MT

Hmm. Where to begin? I'll start by saying that my Gladiator is my first Jeep. I am no brand fanboy. In fact the brand means nothing to me. I bought my Jeep knowing the questionable quality of the vehicle. As a prior owner of a 21 year old Volvo that has 175k miles with nothing other than...
  12. Stay away from 6MT

The bigger issue seems to be trucks derating when they sense the clutch is hot.
  13. Lost my key. What is the best way to replace it.

Hi all. I lost the whole fob. Are there any better places to get one than going to my local dealer and bending over?? I'm fine with aftermarket, if they exist **Edit- Has anyone tried one of these? If so,does the dealer need to program it, or can a locksmith do it...
  14. 392 Wheels Mounting to 2020 Gladiator TPMS/lug nuts

I dont' think the lug nuts are any different so pick whatever ones you want. It appears that the tires are already on the 392 wheels. I'd just drive it and see if the TPMS works.
  15. BFG KO3 Release Date?

Because nothing has more off road credibility than a 65 series tire on a 20 in rim!!!
  16. Tonneau or not tonneau

I just checked. I bought the XLT Mat from RealTruck, a vendor on this forum. $165 Shipped for the XLT mat was a no brainer.
  17. Tonneau or not tonneau

I have the XLT Mat, which is the full mat that includes the tailgate. I am happy with my purchase and my decision not to go with the full rug. It doesn't look quite as nice, in that the full rug makes the bed look like interior space in the vehicle. But it was super easy to install and...
  18. Tonneau or not tonneau

I've got a topper, but want to comment on the liner. If you don't plan to haul things like gravel and sand, the BedRug is awesome. I really love it. I usually haul my dog, household crap, bikes, skis, and things like that. If I am hauling motorcycles, rocks, dirt, I use my 5x8 utility trailer.
  19. Building 3.6 with forged internals

There is need to lower compression if you want to maximize boost and power. But no need if you are only going to boost it mildly. (which is how the majority of these systems seem to be set up.). Especially if you maintain some kind of knock sensing system to pull boost and/or timing if knock...
