Mine has been the same since day one. Over 70K miles and no issues at all. As some have said, my driveway is angled so it depends on how I park and the weather. I usually hop right in and start it immediately or remote start it so it warms some before putting it in gear. That definitely...
If you live near Warrenton VA, beware of buying or having any service done at Safford Jeep in Warrenton VA. If you do happen to get a decent price there, do not go back for service. They finally got my daughter's Jeep straightened out after a year or more. This was after they spoke to my wife...
Went ahead and just bought a new battery this evening and installed it. Old battery tested bad. Put it on a charger and charged it fully showing good but almost to the bad end of things. With the new battery she fired right up and all seems back to normal. At least I won't worry about getting...
Pulling up this old thread. My truck is starting very sickly like. Sounds like the battery is low. While driving it is showing 14 to 14.3 volts. Only other weird electrical issue is that my clock resets itself while truck is sitting and off. I have a 2021 Willys with the single battery...
Still sort of have mine on a 2021 with 70K miles. I have a Willys and needed new tires and found a hell of a deal on 4 Rubicon rims with Falkens with 10K miles on them for $400. They were a direct swap as the tires were already mounted. So still stock Gladiator rims. Just not the ones that...
Nope. Stock shocks will be fine. I did the same thing and the only other thing I added was the Mopar longer LCAs from the Mopar 2" lift kit. They are cheap and honestly my Gladiator rides better than stock now.
Quality is fine. Just metal blocks. Been in a couple years and not a single issue. Not even any rust. I off road mine and they have been perfectly fine. No shifting. No squeaking. Trails and beach driving. Again whether they are Tera Flex or off brand metal ones from Amazon, they are...
I put new Rubicon springs and shocks, 1.5" spacer up front, 3/4" spacers in the rear, and the Mopar lift LCAs up front. Also added takeoff Rubicon rims with the 285/70/17 Falkens. Rides better than stock. I ended up about 2.5 inches higher up front and almost 2 inches higher in the rear. I...
Yeah I graduated high school in 95. Back then if you had a Jeep or smaller Toyota, Ranger, etc, 33s on your rig and you were a bad ass. If you had a full size truck or full size Bronco or GMC Jimmy or similar you may have had 40s, but not much bigger. We had one friend whos father was the...
70k miles and over 3 years on my 21 Willy's and it burps every time I fill up no matter where I refuel. I just grab paper towels before I start filling up and wipe down the fender every fill up. It is a minor nuisance for my so far otherwise trouble free truck. Can't complain about it to much...
I have Falken take offs from a Rubicon now. Not a fan of them at all. Glad they are worn down and I am ready to get rid of them. I am usually not a fan of off brand tires either, but I put a set of $90 a piece Dexteros on my wife's Toyota Sequoia and for 30K miles they have been perfect. No...
So I am looking at new tires. Was going to go to 35s, but dont really need them. So now I am looking at the 285/17/17s. Was wondering if anyone has experience with the Gladiator X Comp ATs. Have tons of reviews that are good. I realize it may be a budget tire, but may be hard to pass them...
I am trying to figure out which tires I want. Have a 21 Willys Sport. Has Rubicon take off suspension with 1.5" spacer up front and a 3/4" spacer in the rear currently. Also have Rubicon rims with the stock 285/70/17 Falkens. Will be going up with the lift after the new tires. Not sure how...
I actually have not bought one yet. I have a short drop trailer hitch that has worked perfectly. First time I hit it, I was a little alarmed and then realized it saved my bumper and now put it in for each off road excursion I take. Would be nice if it was wider, but it has worked well so far...
Getting ready to install the simple spacer lift using shock extensions. Currently have Rubicon springs and shocks, 1.5 spacer up front and a 3/4 spacer in the rear. Also have the Mopar 2" lift front LCAs. I will be upgrading to longer shocks in a few months.
The RC kit comes with longer...
I currently have a 1.5" spacer up front and 3/4" spacer in the rear. Going to the AEV or Iron Rock 2" spacer all around soon. I need new shocks now and may as well just purchase the longer shocks for the spacer kit now. Will it hurt to have the extended shocks on my current set up?
Thanks
