  1. swapping stock 245 75 R17 on 7.5” Sport S rims, for Rubicon take-off 285 70 R17 tires and rims - Issues?

I had 255 something on my 21 Willy's. Did the same thing as you. Needed tires and found Rubicon rims with Falken 285/70/17s with 10k miles on them for $350. Could barely buy 2 new tires and have them mounted for that price and even though I wanted 35s, couldn't pass that up. Brought them...
  2. Which Way Does The Spare Wheel and Tire Face While Mounted?

My valve stem points down so I can check the pressure easily to make sure it maintains the right pressure. I will say when I off road my JT, I am not worried about damage to the spare because I drop it and leave it in the bed in case I need it. Never know what position I may be in if and when...

  5. Sport non max tow with 35s

Stock rims from a Rubicon. Stock plastic bumper. Also don't want 12.5. only want the 10.5 wide on stock rims. That is why I am trying to figure out if it is the height or width that causes rub with 35s
  6. Sport non max tow with 35s

So I have a 21 Willy's sport with the narrow axles. I have Rubicon springs and shocks for now with a 1.5.' spacer up front and a 3/4" spacer in the rear. Currently have 285/70/17 Falkens. Want to go to 35/10.5/17s. I know some say there is rubbing on the narrow axles with the 35s. My...
  7. 35s on Sport S, non-max tow??

I would be fine with 11.5 as well as my current 285/70/17s are I believe 11.6 wide. Just not sure if those would rub on a sport non max tow in 35s. Even with the Rubicon springs and shocks and a 2" spacer lift..
  8. 35s on Sport S, non-max tow??

The Kenda Klevers come in 35/10.5/17.
  9. 35s on Sport S, non-max tow??

So I have a 21 Willys with narrow axles. Take of Rubi springs and shocks and a 1.5 spacer up front. Getting ready to yank the spacer and add the AEV or Iron Rock 2" all around spacer kit. I want 35/10.5/17 tires. So with the narrow axles and that lift and stock Rubi rims, will I rub? Wasn't...

  11. Lift kit ordering

Perfect. Thanks for the quick response.
  12. Lift kit ordering

Maybe a dumb question but will ask anyway. So I have a 2021 Willy's sport. I currently have shocks and springs from a Rubicon and 1.5" spacer up front and 3/4 spacer in the rear. Ready to go up higher and I notice some lifts have options for Rubicon and non Rubicon. So the question is, do I...

  16. 2021 Willy's sport differential

I am looking at differential skid plates for my 21 Willy's sport. Trying to figure out what I have to order correctly. Am I looking for something to fit an M210 diff? Would it be the same front and rear? Thanks in advance
  17. Weird occasional wobble in front end

Thanks to you both. I am going to do dry steering test tomorrow and also retorque everything. Wife and I were out tonight and I made a point to go out of my way by a few miles to hit the same railroad tracks. About the same speed as the other day and smooth as could be. Still going to check...
  18. Weird occasional wobble in front end

So I am not talking about death wobble. I have a Willy's sport with Rubicon shocks and springs. I have a 1.5" leveling kit up front and a 1" spacer in the rear. Also did the longer control arms up front. Normally rides better than stock. Smooth and tracks straight as can be. So today I...
  19. Flagpole Knob/Peters Mill April 11-13

Thanks for the responses. Plans changed a little now. Wife and daughter in law decided they want to go now and don't want to remote camp and poop in the woods! So now we are staying at some horse ranch, doing Peters Mill only and then going horseback riding the rest of the day. Still he fun...
