Yeah Midway USA had a run of M1 carbines they imported that were in storage in Italy since the war. Never arsenal refinished. I got an IBM produced one. They went on sale 2 Tuesday's ago at 8am CST, sold out in first 15 minutes. I didn't know the tazer did the blinker thing, that's...

Do you have a pic of the flaps installed? I would love to avoid the rocks flinging at my paint but I also dont want to look like a 70's Audi rally car

Its very easy to do yourself. I only did the drivers door, was under $200 if I recall correctly including the Jscan app.

I definitely agree a grab handle wouldn't count. Personally I think if I'm turning wrenches and changing parts out then its a mod. I guess I would say our difference in opinion is you say something that cant come the factory, and I would classify it as different from how it came from the...

So I have spent my last year of ownership modding as most do, I have done a lot of OEM swaps, so much so that my boss calls mine a Sporticon. Big mods are Rubicon take off wheels and mud terrains Rubicon take off suspension Mopar steel bumper and steel skid plate added second rear tow hook...
  15. Doors Off Mirrors

I like those the most from mounting design standpoint, just wish they went out farther. Not sure why they are so short.
  16. Clunk after Rubicon take off swap

It was just perspective with the exhaust. I'm glad it was an easy fix as well, just my own brain fart in not tightening it with an allen key to hold the bolt while the nut is turned. The ride is great, my driveway is 1/4 mile long and has some deep rust from rain runoff that I haven't fixed...
  17. Clunk after Rubicon take off swap

I am very happy with it. It did raise me almost 2 inches. I installed it, drove around for about an hour then measured. I think it rides better, smoother. For the money I don't think you can go wrong so long as you don't plan on a lift later. If you do then just wait and put the money...
  18. New Legit Medical Reason - Quieting the JT or JL Cabin

I feel the same about my wife. Dont know where id be or who id be without her. She's about the only person I can stand being around anymore. I wonder if spray on sound deadening of some kind is an option. Add it to the floors and top. Its worth a try to not loose the toy.
  19. Which Way Does The Spare Wheel and Tire Face While Mounted?

Its a double edged sword on which way to mount it. There's advantages both ways. Its great to be able to check and adjust the pressure with it up there, but that also means that stem exposed to be damaged. I also would imagine water would pool up in the rim. Don't know what that could...

Forgive me, my first vehicle that isn't IRS lol. I appreciate your help! It amazes me how quickly people here are to reply with useful info. A breath of fresh air from the Cobra forums I'm used to.
