Ive been looking around also. Man, $5K for gears is a RIPOFF!!! From what I've read, it like a 5-6 hour job. Figure the avg going rate of $150 hr x 6 = $900 approx labor. The gears around around $1K. Gotta ask yourself, WHAT are they doing to charge so much???

Noted, but my question is if you did re-gear, wouldn't that (overall) be better for your tranny and engine if you wanted to keep it for the long run?

I can relate, but I do think the white/black combo stands out and the truck is good looking. No doubt they will lure some other brand owners with this remodel.

I LOVE my Gladiator, but the new Toyota is pretty sweet. looks great, interior is nice and has good power options. If I was "looking" to buy a truck right now, I would look at it and consider it.
