  1. 2021 Jeep Gladiator Build & Price is UP

This is part of my 2021 order and it went through fine, so I think you're right. You don't need to have adaptive cruise to select the safety group.
  2. Up to 7% off in Idaho

Looks great! Is that the first 2021 JTR or the last 2020 off the line?
  3. Rubicon Stubby bumper

There is a thread about this. It doesn't matter if you use the stubby or include the end caps on the steel bumper. You will likely need to trim the skid plate sightly to get it to mount using all the hardware...
  4. Can anyone help locate this rim. It's exactly what I'm looking for.

These look great but they're probably very heavy. Wish they would post a weight on these.
  5. Anyone walked away from an existing order?

You can walk away and lose the deposit. The dealer you ordered from will just add the vehicle to their stock.
  6. bed shell - RSi Smart Cap

I also put down a deposit, so we'll see if my Gladiator gets here first or the Smartcap. I know it's a silly detail, but the window lines on the RSi cap match up perfectly with the sides of the truck.
  7. AEV Releases Gladiator JT350 & JT370 Packages & Parts

I like the almost stock look of the stubby bumper, but that grille guard is gigantic.
  8. Up to 7% off in Idaho

Sorry for digging up this old post, but did you end up getting your tires changed in Nampa before picking up your truck? Did they buy back the OEM 33s?
  9. Off to close on a new gladiator

The late March and April prices were outliers.
  10. Haven’t bought a new car in a while...is my dealer scammy? Lease price doesn’t equal purchase price?

I forgot to mention that some banks and dealers let you put down multiple security deposits (MSDs) to lower your money factor. Not sure if Chrysler Capital allows this or not, or the other lenders used by CDJR dealers.
  11. Haven’t bought a new car in a while...is my dealer scammy? Lease price doesn’t equal purchase price?

If they’re telling you that the lease price and purchase price are going to be different, you need to check the incentives available for purchasing versus leasing in your ZIP code. That will usually account for the difference if you’re dealing with an honest salesperson. Often, when you start...
  12. Haven’t bought a new car in a while...is my dealer scammy? Lease price doesn’t equal purchase price?

You can’t negotiate it down, but a lot of dealers will increase it as a way to make more money on the deal and hide some profit taking. Depending on the dealer, some are able to use multiple lenders for financing and those will sometimes have different MFs. If you ask in the Edmonds forum...
  13. Haven’t bought a new car in a while...is my dealer scammy? Lease price doesn’t equal purchase price?

Before you lease, you should really read up at Leasehackr. They've got a great calculator that can help you gauge whether you're getting a good deal or not. If you don't know how leasing works, the dealer will take you for a ride by manipulating the MF (money factor, the equivalent of APR on...
  14. Mid-Late August Purchase - Need Advice

I think it really depends on the specific dealer pool in your area. You can usually get a pretty good feel after sending out an email to all of them which are willing to deal and to what degree. I found a couple very well equipped trucks in my immediate area/state with more than 7% below...
  15. Mid-Late August Purchase - Need Advice

This is the way to go if you're good with waiting. I did the same thing, and am waiting for my Gladiator out of Idaho. Looks like you got a well equipped truck for that price!
  16. Launch Edition $58k

If you bite, make sure they’ve taken care of every TBS before you drive it home.
  17. Under Invoice Pricing Friendly dealers in SE

Somebody in the Wrangler forums created this map of dealers willing to go below invoice. Worth checking out. https://sites.google.com/view/wranglerdeals/home
  18. Hauling long loads?

This video tells you what length to cut the three 2x4s in the bed.
  19. AEV 2” spacer lift vs Mopar 2”

Besides getting used to getting good deals. Everything else will seem expensive after.
  20. AEV 2” spacer lift vs Mopar 2”

If you can do the Mopar kit for $650 I would jump on it over spacers.
