Just jumping into this now, so are you saying you do NOT have the ESS light on, and the ESS system is working, after fixing your bent pin? I just found those questions on the Genesis site myself and I don't want to disable ESS or drive around with a warning light on.
Maybe I should have read into this further before I dropped $1600 on the Genesis dual battery kit and two batteries.
I received my kit and was going through the Genesis site for the installation links, and only for the first time noticed they had a tab on there for "questions and answers". One...
Went to go rotate my tires for the first time last weekend and for the love of God, what size are these lugs?
FYI they are the factory jacketed nuts and they WERE undamaged.
I know the book says 22mm, which is what I tried to use. It's almost like they used a 22mm nut, and THEN put the steel...
I forget, I ordered it through whichever of the online Mopar retailers ended up being cheapest. I wasn't in a hurry so I just placed the order and left it. Turns out they emailed me only like a week later to say it came in and was getting shipped. Maybe "out of stock" means special.order, and...
Yeah, I assumed since it was a 7-pin connector with a fairly large boat, that the SERE trailer had brakes but I could be wrong. Budget cuts and all. :) It could also have them but they're not working. I'll have to find another trailer around base and try it.
Installed the Mopar controller last weekend. I don't own a trailer, would mostly be U-haul / borrow a buddy's, etc, so it's hard to do a real full-on test until I actually need the trailer, which is the wrong time to test stuff. I am probably going to have to town my kid's Jeep down to FL at...
Awesome, thanks! That's what I was looking for. They actually look pretty good like that too. I did order the Recon flares, but it looks like they'd fit the same as the DBOR ones, or actually maybe a bit better.
I have a few questions in my mind that hopefully you guys can save ne a couple hundred bucks.

I picked up a set of 35/12.5/17 BFG ATs and I want to KEEP my stock Rubicon wheels.
I was planning on getting these Double Black OR flare extensions to keep things legal and also clean...
Just trying to plan ahead here....
I'm at about 40,000 miles, so the 3/36 is up, but I have MaxCare to 125k. I expect soon enough that I'll have to replace the batteries - haven't had any issues yet but I'm sure I will soon, batteries are kind of a routine maintenance thing. Just really...
If I were to sandblast this, would it be worth my time to get it powdercoated? I'm actually thinking I might be better off with something like Line-X or even Plasti-Dip that's a little more deflective to rock chips. I still think the powdercoating could chip and expose the cheap steel and then...
Completely disagree, ShadowsPapa is exactly right. I dont care if I have to spend $120 to get it powdercoated, I've still saved $1000. A THOUSAND DOLLARS I have saved. There's no way the "buy quality" argument works here. The OEM bumper is just ridiculously overpriced, sorry.
