Obviously. There’s not that much flex in the bed without doin the frame. Ooh. But it’s behind the axle? That’s not really “frame” for the purposes of making it drive right.
At least it was a rear collision. The only collision you can at least most of the time say was not at all your...
States don’t have anything to do with totaling a vehicle…. Maybe there’s some weird exception somewhere. Strictly a business decision by insurance.
I’ve seen a lot less effed up trucks get totaled…. Frame involvement is usually a can of worms they don’t want to worry about.
Hot take bro.
Coils fail…. All the frickin time. Like… all the time. Always all the time. Always called a hiccup.
Been replacing bad coil packs since about 1994 ? Ever since they went multi coil packs on almost everything.
just got “stranded” in the desert with 2 bad coils on a 21...
I had that stuff on my last couple vehicles. I don’t miss it on the Jeep. Kinda wish I had the emergency stop thing, but that requires a camera and the expensive windshield…. And man… you don’t want the expensive windshield.
The camera stuff will cost ya a mint I’d expect. If it’s...
Not bad. I thought I’d hate it. I think I’d hate it in hydro blue or any of the bright colors.
Thought it would look like an 80s hot rod. But it works.
No trick in my state. I push in the nozzle, pull the handle and lock it. Fills up. Have no problem getting gas in there from a jerry can either.
I’d guess you have some sort of filler neck/valve failure
Unlikely an actual problem with the locker.
Pretty common failure…. Up until recently it meant “replace axle”. They have a repair kit now.
The likely culprit is a failed position sensor wire. Which weren’t replaceable. There’s a kit if you’re out of warranty but I think you still have to...
Hiccups are almost, well are always, misfires, and almost always coils. But I wouldn’t put anything past the computer controls doing something new and exciting.
They can go on for a long time without storing a code till they reach a threshold. Then you’ll likely get a flashing cel.
The...
I had it go out. Replaced under warranty….
Between mouthfuls of burrito my service writer said he was surprised it was included under 3/36. He thought it would go away with 12month. It’s not a light bulb. It’s a permanent feature. Love my dealer.
Factory is best for what factory is intended.
Aftermarket companies are a crap shoot. And with Jeep stuff a set of step rails can cost you 200 lbs. a bumper will weigh 100 to three times that unless you go stubby or aluminum. Most of the aftermarket is junk. Which was fine when things...
Hmm random place to look…tailgate wiring have an intermittent ground? Those wires are just out there to get folded crushed and just generally flexed over and over.
Other than that reverse switch. The way these computers wrk… it gets bad data it just stops listening.
Yea that’s a pretty lame fine. Maybe they’re tiny. They hung the auto manufacturers out to dry. Anyone still dealing in soot should probably be incarcerated
Just ran into a possible issue with this. Bumper. You can’t replace the bolts. So since you need to space out the bumper a bit to get most winches in there, if it’s more than 1/4” or so, you’re SOL. Hopefully I’ll find enough room.
I’m surprised at the reactions that people have thinking that a car company would expect you to buy another of their vehicles after deliberately sabotaging their reputation.
Turns out, they don’t really care a whole lot about the 8+ year 150000 mile plus used market, but happy customers are...
