One thing to remember is …. The branding company can ask for certain build quality and parts all day. But that’s not how Chinese production works. You get a couple units to your spec to test…. Then it’s a completely different product for the main run. Ymmv. Smitty built obviously doesn’t...
I heard about that. I always had to change my fittings between home and work or work and new work…. But I’ve long ago gotten rid of all my air tools. Batteries are just too easy. It’s a bridge I’d cross if and when it comes to it. It’s not like it can do anything besides inflate tires and...
I think the stubby bumpers look silly. Full width bumpers only seem to come in mega heavy farm tractor/tow truck style or oem.
So I went with a 5 foot bumper. 60lbs. doesnt look like a stubby.
I’ve also known people to get in minor accidents with short bumpers and break front...
If there’s shake, it’s because something is allowing it. Unless the tread pattern and wear and alignment just happen to be magic together.
Got to check all the parts
I bought the single compressor version from a different color supplier. (Alltop orange) I can’t fault it and it’s gotten tons of use.
But I also am happy with 7cfm for less than half the price. Most if not all of these things are generics painted and packaged to meet seller specifications...
Over a 4cyl? I guess it’s not designed for this market or vehicle… so it’s hard to imagine what concerns they were looking at.
I imagine smaller cylinders make it’s quieter and smoother at idle given the proper balancing.
There’s also plenty of stories of people having loose electrical connections throughout the vehicle.
None of my little bugs seemed to be, but others have just snapped things together and been fine.
But if there’s an O2 issue out there, no reason to believe you’re special.
I mean, what’s the vibe you get when you see the “list of mods” on Craigslist.
Beyond people doing a crappy job on mod installs, there’s the other persons taste and utility. It narrows your field a lot to ask money for installed mods.
Regardless, it’s like most things. It won’t raise your...
If they’re water bubbles they CAN go away on their own. Most plastic and vinyl is very hydrophilic and will let it out. If it’s air… yea poke and press and hope. If ya try to massage them without a hole, you stretch and make ripples in the finished product.
I have the manual and have a NEED to be in 6th gear all the time. But the Jeep is geared like a corvette. Mild grades need to be downshifted, medium grades are 4th (1:1). I’ve decided that I’ll not worry about it and try to just stay in the gear that is the most comfortable. The mpg...
I’d make the assumption that the thing was fixed within a reasonable time and price or we’d probably see a rant.
I don’t know why they’re having those problems. Granted paint was “better” back in the day, but a lot more deadly.
I used to paint series rovers and the occasional postal van...
I don’t clean my tires really. But I go with a wheel that doesn’t really need much.
It’s also very different depending on where you live. Most of the stuff here just rinsed away. In Hawaii, forget it. The dirt mixed with the hard ass water just made everything orange unless you acid...
Hey, just because they can’t read, doesn’t mean the charger challenger crowd doesn’t exist. They’re a lot like the Altima crowd… but with union jobs instead of none. ;)
Just took my truck up black mountain trail (Ramona ca) with the doors off and my new light weight bumper (never had oem bumper to compare). Pretty crazy.
With my 200lbs of bumper weight and similar in doors it took me about 1.25 hours to get up there.
Took me less than that to go round...
