A few months back I purchased the Morrflate 4 tire inflation hose kit. The build quality is about the best I've ever seen. It was quite pricey compared to some others out there but you get what you pay for (most of the time). So 2 months ago I got in on a pre order for a new compressor they were coming out with called the 10-6. Its called 10-6 because it is advertised to deliver 10.6 cfm at 0 load
It arrived this week and I played with it today. Once again the quality seems to be as good as I've seen. It has a digital control panel that you set the desired psi and it automatically runs to that setting and shuts off. I put a tire pressure gauge on each tire after and they were exactly what I set the setting to of 35 psi. Here's the best part, it aired all 4 at the same time from 15 psi to 35 psi in 4:10!! It cost $331.50 shipped to my door. If anyone is looking for a high quality compressor this seems to be a good one. https://morrflate.com/shop/air-sour...s/morrflate-tensix-psi-pro-compressor-batch1/

90 amps at peak! When my current compressor dies, this is probably what I’d replace it with (along with a pretty hefty relay)

I've got the older version without the new digital stuff - along with their 4 tire inflation hose kit. Very happy with both. It inflates insanely quick. Seems well built, although their carrying bag is starting to rip on mine. Not really an issue though.

I just used the clamps straight on the battery posts. The clamps are super heavy duty.

I bought the single compressor version from a different color supplier. (Alltop orange) I can’t fault it and it’s gotten tons of use.
But I also am happy with 7cfm for less than half the price. Most if not all of these things are generics painted and packaged to meet seller specifications.
Amazon sells this one under the ALLTOP brand, which I’ve found seems to select better than average products. I think they inflate (wink wink) their cfm numbers a touch, because they always claim a cfm more than the others of the same make.

This one doesn’t have the digital stuff but there are more on Amazon. One probably does. But all Jeeps come with pressure gauges in the dash?

You can also pay more and get it with smitty built written on it.

I also have this Alltop compressor and have been very pleased with it. It's never let me down, only aired me up ?. It really is a good affordable compressor. The new Morrflate will now reside in the off road packout box and the old one will stay in my truck under the seat for anything else. My only negative issue with the Alltop is it has weird non standard fittings but I converted mine to accept normal 1/4" quick connects. Had to make an adapter in order to use the Morrflate tire inflation kit. And yes it did fit under the back seat laid on its side.

I heard about that. I always had to change my fittings between home and work or work and new work…. But I’ve long ago gotten rid of all my air tools. Batteries are just too easy. It’s a bridge I’d cross if and when it comes to it. It’s not like it can do anything besides inflate tires and the hose is holding up.
I assume if I go to Amazon or temu and order some parts, they’ll come metric.

I just found a version called. “Thors thunderbolt”
Has a gladiator logo on it

Sure but if you want to mount it fixed (mine is under the passenger seat) you need a legit electrical install for that draw. My current one runs off the 40A aux so it’s trivial to install

I've been looking at the very same for the single and dual cylinder versions of these often "rebadged" inflators, that otherwise have a respected brand somewhere in the mix. Different brand names, colors, accessories, slightly different CFM figures, 30 day to 2 year warranty range, and varied prices.

Morrflate, Thor and EZ Flate all sell a digital version of the two cylinder, and some a digital of the single cylinder as well.

On Amazon, dual cylinder non-digitals...

EZ Flate $240 https://a.co/d/bPoaCCl
Thor $240 https://a.co/d/8pGKLK5
Tozalazz $232 https://a.co/d/9Iocnzs
All-Top $176 https://a.co/d/1osIvPZ
Stop & Go $160 https://a.co/d/dzvIqlD

And the not quite the same Yantu $159 https://a.co/d/1S2vz74

I have no experience with any of these. Brands that contract a product under their name can specify specs, parts or quality that may make these different machines (even if built in the same factory). Either in effectiveness or durability. Which makes it hard to know for sure and it may be worth your $ to balance between cost and choosing a respected brand, or best warranty.

A thing to note on this dual cylinder version, the the brands that sell a digital version recommend NOT using it for single tire inflation. Morrflate going so far as to say it reduces the duty cycle to 2 minutes (from 15 mins). If it weren't for the that specificity I might have thought it was just a "this is too powerful to bother not getting our 4 tire inflation system." EZ Flate states the single cylinder version is recommended up to 35" tires with their 4 tire hose system, and the dual cylinder for 35" or more. And they also recommend to get the single cylinder if only filling one tire at a time.

As for the single cylinder "version" (they may not be related, but the same brands often sell the same two models), which is possibly popularized under the Smittybilt 2781. Same story on Amazon with many brands of seemingly the same inflator. Same complaints of non-US fittings, etc. Something Smittybilt may have gotten around by clamping a hose on to it by default.

I won't list them all, because you can view similar products to see the options. All-Top is one, and the cheapest is likely Vevor at $79. https://a.co/d/6GFK4qx

So now I've got decisions to make.

@JTenn Have you found the digital stop point to be accurate for what you set? I see pumps say to turn off the machine to get an accurate reading on the analog gauges they often include. I wonder if the digital build in an inaccuracy to turn off at the correct point, or cycle for a moment to get an accurate reading.

One thing to remember is …. The branding company can ask for certain build quality and parts all day. But that’s not how Chinese production works. You get a couple units to your spec to test…. Then it’s a completely different product for the main run. Ymmv. Smitty built obviously doesn’t keep watch on that stuff. Other companies try to. It’s a game.

But my mom worked with china her whole career in qc and my buddy used to do stuff with re-branding type imports. It was ALWAYS the same. Here’s your specified product… we have a boat full of garbage right behind it.
My mom was a chemist… they’d ship a packet of chemical for testing attached to a barrel, then the barrels would be full of sand, just the cost of doing business. No alternatives that were any better anymore.

I assume that when you pay 2-3 times as much you’re getting warranty…. Which hopefully is worth it’s weight in paper. Shipping heavy stuff back and forth really brings you down to no value in the warranty. And warranted doesn’t save your ass when you need the broken part now.

Yes I did 2 separate inflation cycles and both times the 10-6 shut off at the set point. I put a gauge on each tire after shut down and it was spot on with the gauge to the set point each time.

I've used the Alltop alot off roading with 0 issues. I truly didn't need the new one but figured I would like to have a dedicated off road compressor and a backup for highway use. Yes the ARB under seat setup would have fit the bill but at nearly 3x the cost I couldn't justify it for my needs.

I considered the very same thing. It's a gamble at any brand for a rebadge ready product. Overpay and it lasts 3 months. Choose the cheapest and get the same or way better.

Good to hear, glad it works well. I really like walk-away inflators in general.

And good too hear the single cylinder worked well for you too, even with the 4 tire Morrflate kit. Any detail on the adapter you used to make it connect?

One of the supplied accessories in the kit had the weird metric female end which I removed. It has a barbed end on it so I made an adapter hose using the metric female fitting on one end and standard male end on the other. I bought 2 standard female quick connects and joined them together with a closed nipple. I got all the connectors at Harbor Frieight for $10. Now I can use standard fittings on the end of the adapter hose.
