Created a Hi Lift mount and added my rotopax to the rack using 1/2" x 4" bolts and several nuts to position the jack away from the bed and rack. Seems to work very well. With the jack and rotopax mounted up there is nowhere to attach the MaxTracks so I had to rig them up on the lid of my temp...
I picked up a set of upgrades and tires off Craigslist (5 tires and wheels for $900 minus $275 for selling the trailer tires) and mounted them on my overland trailer. Sold one wheel and selling another now. I can’t say I like either one that much but I could really care less if I look like a...
Just like yours. I pulled this one out of my PowerWagon before I sold it. I think I have been using this mat for 5 years now. It is very beat up but still works. I will add a bed liner soon but not till my RLD arrives in November (damn it, i need it NOW so I can get that tool box out). Next...
I have it. Didn't want ACC/FCW or the other safety features, But I bought one off the lot and really had no choice. Now that I have used it, I really like the ACC but most of the other features I do not want or need.
Completed modding out my Rubi's partner in crime. The overland trailer is now ready for off road use.
Flipped the axles
Cut off the fenders and angle iron brackets sold the original tires
Welded on new angle iron, flat steel (foot steps), and 16 ga fenders...
56 here-I am in the 33" Tires with 2" Lift camp. Sticking with the stock 33s mainly because I require the use of mud chains which necessitates no rubbing and I will be towing. I am also in the two spare tire camp and replacing them all (including my utility trailer) with larger tires is just...
I know the feeling! Except we are in opposite camps as your wife is going to have to hunt down my wife as she is the actual culprit here. Crap that Bruder looks awesome but come on, 100K+??? There are some other pretty nice looking Australian caravans out there but we just can't get them here...
I too am in the hunt for a Black Series. I think they look close too ideal but have yet to check one out personally. However, if the Bruder EXP-6 wasn't the cost of my first house it would be on top of my list.
My whole purpose in purchasing and modding out my Gladiator is for the express purpose of hauling my carcass into the mountains so I can chase Elk. Taking 2 weeks off this October with 4 tags to fill (2 of them for Elk).
I have seen very few in the last 6 weeks. One silver one in Lakeland TN, a red sport in Tucson AZ last week, a couple of white ones in Denver CO, and a black one pulling a trailer near Vail, CO 3 weeks ago. Not too many considering I have 5500 miles now.
I have the 67 designs in mine. I think it works quite well. I may add additional mounts to the rail at some point but all I have now is the single phone mount.
I have only used the OFFROAD+ mode in 4 low with about 7 hours of off-road use total across 3 trips.
When engaged I find that it prevents the automatic tranny from shifting until much higher RPMs. When on very rough/rocky trails it helps quite a bit as it also keeps from shifting when...
Auto Park does not engage with the seatbelt off but doors on and closed. i have yet to remove my doors to test doorless and no seatbelt but I suspect they are tied in when doors are off.
I spent a couple weeks in Chattanooga rock climbing in the 1990's and went up into the Smokeys from Knoxville last spring. Barely touched exploring around Kentucky Lake this summer, and deposited my oldest son at UT Knoxville two weeks ago. But that is the limit of what I have done so far...
