First week home is in the books (tomorrow anyway, close enough) and window tint match, LINE-X, and BRI side bed racks installed. Front rack and cheap-o tonneau cover waiting to be installed next.
Ha! Optical illusion...I was kneeling down a bit when I took the pic. My WK is a few inches taller than the JT so I know I have room. I'll probably start with 35's and run with that for a bit before putting on a lift.
Picked mine up Tuesday and I found the setting under Safety and Driver Assistance to turn it on, then I could set desired pressures in the app. Just used it to air down from factory 42 psi to 37. I have a Rubicon, built in September.
Picked it up yesterday from Johnson Auto in Brighton, CO. Great experience all the way from ordering, through build, to pick up. I already have appointments for windows tint and bed lining, with BRI bed racks and a tonneau cover waiting. Probably 35s and maybe a 2" lift in the near future.
The time has come for me to graduate to the owners thread. Ordered 7/25, delivered to dealer yesterday (delayed due to rail car breaking down in Nebraska), picked up today. The WK now has a friend.
I officially belong in this thread! Picked it up earlier today and already broke her in by taking a run to the local hardware store to return 15 gallons of paint. Let the build begin!
Up first, though, I need to rearrange some things in the garage. This thing is a bit longer than my WK...
This past Sunday I saw a black truck pulling into the Shell station on Parker/Quincy, looked like maybe it had a custom front bumper but I'm not sure, and then followed a red LE with a sunrider heading west out of Denver on 285. My wife was laughing at me because I kept making her and the kids...
Given what @WhiteJT8541 had to do to his racks to install the bed cover, are there known brands of tonneau covers that work just fine without modification? Tyger? Rugged Ridge? Others?
It seems the rail car busted and was in need of repair, which is why my truck is still in Nebraska...4 hours away. So close! Dealer said the car is now fixed so it should make some progress.
Does this YouTube video help? Looks like there's a process to access it. I have it on my build sheet, but I'm still waiting for it to arrive so I can't test.
I thought I'd have mine by now, but it seems to have gotten stuck on a rail car in NE for the last week. Wish I could just drive out there and pick it up!
