  1. Colorado or Front Range Gladiator owners

I took a recovery course from Matt at On Trail Training a couple years ago. Learned a lot and I'd recommend him.
  2. Is the diesel gladiator worth it?

I have the same dilemma as the OP. I planned on waiting for the diesel to come out but couldn't wait and bought the 3.6 1.5yrs ago, telling my dealer I'd see him again when the diesel came out. I still haven't called him. For me and my usage, the diesel doesn't look like the right fit. I tow a...
  3. Does anyone know of a long range fuel tank?

Anyone with an account on that site mind copy/pasting it here?
  4. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

I like that idea, might borrow it if I come across some ammo cans.
  5. Hi Lift Mounts

While technically not *on* the Gladiator, I needed it after unhitching my camper one day. I was on a slope and after lifting the trailer off the ball, the trailer slid. Yes, it was chocked. My saving grace was the hi-lift to lift the trailer high enough so I could hook it back up to the truck.
  6. So, what is everybody towing?

Since I drive that pass (Eisenhauer) regularly, you've piqued my interest. Can you define "decent speed"? Looking at your rig, I'm probably 1K lbs less than yours and driving east up to the tunnel it's not uncommon to be running at 6k RPM and holding 40 - 50 mph with the gas floored. Similar...
  7. So, what is everybody towing?

I've been using it for a few years and think it works great. Levels things out nicely and handles sway great. No issues with wear up to now. I tow a lighter trailer (Winnebago Drop, 3200lbs +/-) than others here.
  8. Name That Part

Mines more weldeder too. I'll ask about it next time I take it in for an oil change. Still guessing just something they left from swapping the axle.
  9. Name That Part

It's time once again to play "Name that part!" I found this 8" S-hook hanging from a bracket above the rear exhaust close to the bumper. It was rubbing against the rear exhaust can/muffler. I didn't see where it could possibly attach. If someone could peek under their Jeep and see if anything...
  10. Control arm bracket protection

Yes, with the LCA out no issues getting a wrench in there. Mine came finished, but I agree with AmishMike, rattle can on top of primer will be all you need and then easy to touch up.
  11. Flush Mount Tail Lights

That would be great if it was built in.
  12. Flush Mount Tail Lights

Love the look and extra light. Can't wait to replace my busted tail light!
  13. Gladiator gas octane?

Same across the board, including location (hey neighbor!) I do throw in some ethanol free whenever I happen across it and need gas. Even Jeep's need some dessert every now and then!
  14. Colorado Sold: JTR Plastic Front Bumper with Skid

Includes red hooks but no fog lights. All hardware and plastic filler strip included. The bumper has a few scratches on it from a fall off my workbench and the skid plate looks brand new. $50. Pickup near Evergreen, CO or we could arrange to meet nearby. Cash, Venmo, or Zelle.
  15. Flush Mount Tail Lights

@Oracle Designs Is it too early to know yet if your design will support blind spot monitoring?
  16. Rear locker engaging automatically in 2H

Agreed. I towed plenty prior to the issue popping up, but I was towing when it first happened. I may need to look closer at that tazer option but I'll see how things go with the dealer first.
  17. Rear locker engaging automatically in 2H

This first popped up for me when towing back in September. Same symptoms, although I wasn't able to actually get the rear locker to engage when I wanted it to as some have said here. It's definitely not locked, but the light is either solid or flashing depending on the amount of rainfall in...
  18. Mopar factory trailer brake controller - my impressions and review

I have the tekonsha harness that I use with my prodigy and the controller just showed up. I won't be able to get to it anytime soon, though. Coincidentally, I'm taking the jeep in this week for the steering tsb. I was thinking of asking them to install it but with these issues and a possible...
  19. Mopar factory trailer brake controller - my impressions and review

@ShadowsPapa Thank you for digging into this! I thought I saw somewhere that this had the same harness connector as Tekonsha, even speculating that was the manufacturer. From what you've seen, if we have a Tekonsha harness with the diode, could that be swapped in for what comes in the kit to...
