Interesting… what do you mean? I’d have to take off a lot of shit to get that windshield down. I just ran wire up inside that side trim piece / grab handle and mounted a SwitchPros controller to the grab handle. The wire for the G screen is already in the cabin through the driver side...
I installed the system over the weekend. I don't love the location that they show in their videos (in the overhead trim) so I'm looking for better ideas. It's currently stuffed in the empty compartment where the aux switches would go if it had them. If I could find a blank plate to put there...
Yeah I had them loose at the time and re-torqued them once it was back on the ground. I just did not want to deal with the alignment mess that comes with completely disconnecting them and having a completely free axle (other than the driveshaft).
As a quick update... I did get the badlands 1.5t off-road jack and their 12t stands. That was enough for full droop... but I still couldn't get enough droop to fully drop the springs without a compressor. Probably could have disconnected the control arms to get more, but was entirely...
I wasn’t anticipating having to adjust the length of the control arms. The upper needs to be shortened and the lower needs to be lengthened.
Does it make sense that they need to be adjusted or is something else amiss?
I cannot get driver side on to save my life. Haven’t even tried the other side yet.
Gave up. Tried to just reattach the control arms to the stock brackets and they don’t line up anymore, either. Can’t get the upper or the lower holes to align.
So I’m completely stuck. Any help is appreciated.
