Well I got the news from Katzkin today that they will cut the Mojave drivers seat and do the rest of the seat stuff as normal. I think I am going to proceed with this.
Hi again @AllMoparParts.com - I really appreciate your assistance with this...
Not normal for that to be happening on your new Mojave. I have used WildPeaks on several rigs, including two Gladiators in 34's and 35's, never had an issue with scalloping. WildPeaks don't need any more rotations than any other tires. Something else is going on..
Has anybody here actually gone through with this upgrade yet? I really need to be sure I'm not missing anything as it needs to be a one and done deal. I only plan to upgrade the drivers seat and order custom Katzkin leather for the Jeep. The price for these parts in Canada are double the US...
I’ve had tires do that on my Toyotas but never on my Jeeps. Toyota alignment specs are questionable, in spec still allows positive camber which could lead to this issue.
I've used Fox 2.0 on a few Jeeps including a 2020 Gladiator Overland, when new they are nice, but nothing like the Mojave shocks. Maybe you can find some Mojave take offs and add shock extensions to match your lift....
I am presently running Falcon 2.1 SP2's on my JLU, I wanted to try...
Thank you!! I see where I was wrong about the seating portion, it comes with the foam, heat pad and sensors. Is there an option to just purchase the foam and re-use the current heat pad and sensors or are they different in the Mojave seat? I need to be able to just open the seat up once as I...
The foam and covers to fit the foam are different. Hoping too learn the frames, lumbar stuff etc are the same so I can replace the trash in my WIlly's JLU.
Thank you for the information above!
I've had the light grey leather in my 2022 that was stolen then the cloth in my 2023. Could you share the drivers side cloth seat cover part numbers?
My thought is to just to the drivers seat, toss the cloth on it at 1st then order Katzkin or similar or...
I pieced my Mojave kit together so it sat level; Teraflex 1.5 inch front spacer, 1 inch bump stop extension, Currie front 1.5 inch shock extension, Mopar lift front sway bar links, rear Daystar 3/4 inch spacer, Teraflex 0.5 inch bump stop extension. Had 37's on it. Best driving Jeep I've ever...
I’ve seen this was an outcome for a few but with no repeat issues in a month I am going to wait and see. I got a partial video of the 1st event.
If my dealership stops rubbing my privates with sand paper might be trading this one in..
Bumping the up again! Anybody ever get the Mojave cushion part numbers?
@AllMoparParts.com did I ever ask you this? The seats in my Willy's are terrible and I'd like to upgrade the fronts. Tnx
I've had this happen twice now in my 2025, once way out in the bush, thought I was walking home, then again a couple days ago, at an intersection where I thought I was going to be that guy getting laughed at for his broken down Jeep.... anyway both times it occurred it was cold windy snowy...
Katzkin installer quality varies greatly. My last Rubicon came with cloth, so I ordered some nice dark grey Katzkin leather, the shop did a horrible job, so bad that katzkin agreed to a full refund and I traded the Jeep away. Be very cautious with installer selection. As for the new foam that...
I just traded my Mojave on 37's for a Wily's XR, so factory 35's. Dealer I did this with was fine with swapping the tires over. In the end I decided to keep the new 35's instead of swapping over my 2/3 finished 37's. If yours are pretty new just ask!
The cloth and leather Mojave seats I've had are so very much better than the seats in my new 2025 Willy's XR. I can feel lumps and wires in the non Mojave, it is complete trash. I need to rebuild the seats or trade the new one away, pretty bummed.
Thinking of doing Katzkin XT (thicker...
I found my Falken AT3W's to be the best all year tire I've ever had. Had them on a 4Runner, a ZR2, a Tacoma and 2 Gladiators in various sizes I find the KO2's on my Jeep XR packages to be not as good on road in snowy conditions but better off road in slick stuff. Bummer to hear the 4's don't...
I just went from a Mojave to a WIlly's XR, I am disgusted with the Willy's seats, so much so that I'm probably just gonna leave Jeep and get back into a ZR2. The Mojave drives so very nice and the seats are much better. Sure you'll lose the 4.56 gearing but nothing else that actually matters...
