When it comes to replacing the front driveshaft to run a higher angle joint under extreme flex I thought the number/length was 29 inches on the extended front shock.
The XR package comes with steel knuckles with the wide heavy duty axles. Not sure I'd say lighter feel, tighter yes. Also maybe just coming from the bigger Gladiator back into a smaller JLU has something to do with it.
My 2025 Willy's JLU with the 35 inch tire package has a much nicer steering feel than my 2022 and 2023 Mojave's had. Feels tighter but could still use the Mopar lift kit lower control arms to improve highway feel.
Hey everyone,
I recently traded my 2023 Mojave for a 2025 Willy's JLU with the 35 inch tire package and there is a major problem with the seats and my back being in complete disagreement! The cloth Willy's seats feel like an old college sofa. I seem to sink down into the butt cushion and it...
Agreed. Siping won't stop hydroplaning but will help greatly in standard wet slick road conditions.
I am up in Ontario Canada where we get wet cold weather too often.
Siping will help in some situations for sure. Not sure about helping with hydroplaning. I had wiped the centre treads on a set of Toyo MT's, world of difference in wet or snow covered road performance.
I just moved out of my 2023 Mojave with cloth seats, previous rig was a 2022 Mojave with factory leather, now in a 2025 JLU Willy's with the 35 inch tire/4.56 package and the seat are complete ass trash. My back has been completely fried since the trade. Dealerships I've spoken with about...
35's see 8th without issues on these, my 37's not as much but still most of the time. I found 35's to be the perfect daily size on my Mojave. That said 37's are so good!
Today worked on a deal to trade my Mojave on a 2025 Willy’s XR.
Keeping it for the Jeep family!
I will transfer the bumper and winch over and have a set of Falcon shocks that are almost new from my Rubicon and a new Falcon steering stabilizer to add. Of course it is likely I will do the...
I had a bad experience with SL rated Falkens on my Trashoma, err, Tacoma.. But the E rated AT3W's have been amazing on different rigs in different sizes for me, 40k miles + and still good to go. When my last Mojave was stolen at 40K miles the tires were still performing well. Something is...
Hey OP, just get the compressed lengths for the front and rear shocks, compare them to the same specs of the shocks you have now. If longer flex your Jeep until it is 3 wheeling and have a look at how much shock shaft you have left. This should give you a yes or no on the fit.
While not the...
I run these control arms on all of my Jeeps and they make a noticeable difference. On my last Mojave I had a 1 inch spacer and these control arms were great. On my JLUXR I added them and they made a positive improvement. That said both Jeeps sat 2 inches higher than a stock Rubicon….
If the...
Half of Canada is on fire
Half Of Canada is on fire, we’re getting a nice early start to our smoky summer air :-(
I am presently camped on Lk Superior heading further North to start a 120 mile/200km canoe trip and it is hazy.
2 summers ago the fires had me re-routing plans in the Northwest...
I ran the Falcon adjustable stabilizer on my last Mojave, when set to firm it tightened up the steering feel quite a bit. So much so that for daily driving it was too much for me, I set it at medium and left it there. On the new Mojave I run the Falcon 1.1 non adjustable stabilizer, it feels...
