The XR has a 1.5 inch lift from factory, I added a 1 inch front spacer to hold the bumper/winch and remove the rake. I was running the longer shocks for the 2+ lift or whatever the spec was. The fronts were right under the length where a new driveshaft is recommended.
Had more room to...
I had the 2.1's on my JLUXR and set them to 'firm/performance' during Canadian winter, they were very stiff, the Jeep cornered like a mediocre sports car from 2 decades ago! I took a few small jumps with it where I'd catch 6-8 inches of air, they performed very well. I'm back in a Mojave now...
My Falken AT3W 35's with E load rating easily rode as good or better than my BGF C load rating 35's and same goes for my Cooper AT3 XLT D load 37's. It comes down to a quality overall tire. No MT is really going to be as smooth over time as a mellow AT. That said my Toyo MT's rode fantastic...
Key fob has been drying since yesterday, if I push any of the buttons it just sets off the alarm.
I am able to unlock the door manually with the physical key then push the brake and use the fob to push the start button and start the Jeep. Yeah for junk tech!
Yup, I did a 15000km road trip in my Mojave fully loaded for 2 months in the wilderness and it drove great. I feel like all Mojave's and Rubicon JLUXR's should come with the extended Mopar lower control arms, they really help with straight line tracking.
I run like 30 psi up front and 28-29 in the back. Starting there you can get a feel for what impact your tires are having. Old worn tires tend to start driving like crap sometimes.
I just tried starting the Jeep with the wet fob, haha the alarm went nuts and no start. Opened the fob and it was wet in there.
These things suck, if I am out for a hike or a run in the rain it gets wet, always works but I always worry. Really don't wanna have to buy a new one as it will...
I was in a 2020 Diesel ZR2, best handling truck I've ever driven, that MultiMatic suspension is awesome. I had DEF system issues too many times and decided I'd come back to Jeep, there was only one comparable option when it comes to handling, that's the Mojave! It still won't be ZR2 nice...
I am having this issue also, never had it on my previous Gladiators. Only difference is this one has cloth seats, the other two had leather. I suspect because I am basically a dwarf at 5'8" that I'm somehow slowly sliding it down getting out. Need to do a long road trip and see if there is...
Have you looked to see how much of price difference there is with the Teraflex 1.1 and 2.1 shocks. The 2.1's have a soft and firm setting option...
When I used to be in the Toyota world the 5100's were the budget entry level shock. Your Jeep deserves better!!
