Back of the JKU....
Just be aware that if you have a bunch of gear you'll find yourself needing to leave some outside if you plan to be comfortable. My 75lb dog slept back there with me.
No doors on the front!
Depending how tall you are that might or might not be comfy, I've done that in 4drs, slept diagonally, I am a whopping 5 foot 8 inches. Had the seat all the way forward, it def works and is stealthy if that ever matters.
Lucky for me I still love the Mojave, I just have a bad habit of trading vehicles! I will play my usual game and get to the point where I need new tires and am out of warranty to look for a trade. I feel like I am at the point where it will hold the same trade value for another 15k and 6+ months.
Yup, toilet trade value in my region of Canada on the Mojave. Tried last week to trade for a 2024 ZR2 (not a Bison). Not having my payment go up $100/month to make a trade on that, maybe next year!
I owned a 2020 ZR2 Diesel with the tiny back seat and the 6ft bed. Put a Leer 180 cap and some Falken AT3W 33x10.5's on it. Absolutely loved the truck until I kept having diesel emission system issues which got me back to Jeep in the Mojave. Hard to turn back from 'high speed' style...
This is not accurate. The suspension between the two was Identical. The power was identical, tire size was identical The negative was the AEV bumper reduced approach angle and reviewers claimed to feel the weight of the skids. No different than putting a fat friend in the front seat and...
drink more bourbon, cancel wheels, order other wheels, drink more bourbon, good to go!!! i'm on tiny 37's with stock mojave wheels, i have no idea where you'll end up, but the IPA's are making me cheerful haha
I don’t recall what our Mojave stock shock extended lengths are.. Metal Cloak I believe makes a 3 inch extension if that keeps you under the 28.5’ish zone for the front driveshaft limit. Everyone likes an extra inch!
No shit at all. I compute in CDN Pesos, everything is nearly doubled up here. Just the axles are 30k here, so those shocks would run me 8k kinda thing. Then the long arm kit etc. A V8 swap here is a 50k game. Blah blah
ADS Racing shocks are a tad more than 3k. You have no idea what speed they're running there. While you have certainly made some improvements to your Mojave's setup, it isn't in the same ballpark as the Lite Brite Jeep.
Ya another 200k + rig there! The terrain there is smooth compared to the video in the OP. I doubt there is anything Jeep other than the body on that 1st rig.
It rides as I expected when comparing to the last Mojave. I do have an ARB Classic Stubby bumper and a Warn M8000-s up front which may change the ride a bit. I installed things on both Mojave’s with less than 1000miles so it is hard to make a comparison now.
I did add Mopar lift kit lower...
When I added a 1inch inch coil spacer to my last Mojave the clunk from the bump stop went away. One the new Mojave I have 1.5 inch coil spacers up front, 1.5 inch Curries shock extensions and a 1 inch bumpstop extension on the axle, no clunking! Anyway this leads me to think that simply adding...
I use the thickest foam tape I can find when attempting to seal up truck boxes, it isn't perfect but helps. There are also drain holes towards the front of the box IIRC
Was is sloppy feeling with the extra weight for you? Mine drives great and I drive it hard on rough roads with about 85 extra lbs up front. Did your ride height go back up? If I come across some of the Mojave X springs I'd be down to put them on mine. I forget if the consensus is they're...
Just swapping the bumper isn't going to ruin the ride of you Mojave. The stock bumper is about 30lbs, adding another 45lbs up front or so is not that big of a difference. My Mojave's never exploded and burned with my ARB Classic stubby and M8000-s winch, I'm adding at least 85lbs up there I...
