Haha! Ya a really bad experience can leave a long lasting foul taste. I would never buy a new diesel again after my experience with one. One of the things I like about my Mojave is the simple V6 non turbo etc.. would I like more power? Ya for sure, but I can live with what I have now. If...
What's with the double stabilizer setup on that front axle OP? If you're wheeling it to need 40's you might want to consider dumping that setup for a relocated single pass through stabilizer. Or just get 42's!
All tires are significantly shorter once mounted and under the weight of the Jeep with proper air pressure! My 35's were just over 33, my 37's are just over 35. All normal, all good!! I would have loved to keep my JLUXR wheels when I traded for the Mojave. If those wheels are from an XR...
285/70r17's are not 33.8 but more like 32.8... 285/75r17 are in the 33.8 range and would look better being bigger, same for 35x11.5, but hey those wheels do look good on the Mojave!
I went from a 2018 Tacoma automatic on 255's with whatever gearing it had to a Gladiator Overland with 3.73's sitting on 285/75r17, so 34's and it sure felt better than the Tacoma so I had no complaints.. I got into a Colorado ZR2 diesel with 255's, now that is a slow ride! Otherwise it was a...
You can run stock wheels with 37’s, you might get very slight scrub on the inner fender. I’ve found that my Falken AT3W’s have been my best in Northern Ontario winter compared to KO2’s and my current Cooper AT3 XLT’s in 37x12.5r17. I am on stock Mojave wheels which are spaced out 0.5inches...
Front - 1.5 inch Teraflex spacer kit (1 inch and 0.5 inch stacked), 1 inch bumpstop extension, Currie 1.5 inch shock extension.
Rear - 3/4 Daystar spacer, Teraflex 0.5 inch bump stop strike pad extension.
Mopar lift kit lower control arms.
Mopar lift kit sway bar links.
37's!
It sits...
Nice! I run 37's on stock Mojave wheels, 1.5 up front and .75 rear. Up front the 1 inch bump stop extensions and no disconnecting I am nowhere even close to rubbing fenders, but at full right turn I do rub the inner fender liner, when spring shows up I will correct that. Out back I added...
Once you get those 33's you're going to want something bigger I ran 285/75r17's ( 34x11.5 ) on stock sport wheels, no rubbing anywhere including when disconnected. You could get away with 35x11.5's with those fenders.
The need for a new front DriveShaft is not dictated by lift but by the extended length of your front shocks. If you dig around you can find the details on the length numbers on this site.
Ya I had planed to buy the ECRI device as it does all I am looking for. However based on some info in this thread seems ppl who have recalibrated are experiencing the same issue.
