I read nothing but the 1st 2 lines of the OP's 1st post. The ARB Stubby classic fits with no issues and the lines even match up to the stock Mojave skid plate.
Agree with all of your feelings on the Tacoma. A cool truck until actually living with one. The seating was ok for me, but the transmission was upsetting and embarrassing... A little more throttle, nothing, a wee bit more, nothing, a tiny wee bit more then violent downshifting like a raging...
Having had a 2018 TRD Off-road with a crappy Eibach junk lift and 33.5 tall tires you'll be much happier in the Mojave! Really not comparable rides anymore, Jeep has come so far while Toyota seems to have benched the players long-term
I loved my 2020 ZR2 access cab with the 6ft bed. The Multimatic suspension is amazing for higher speed stuff off road, better than my Mojave. I ended up with DEF system issues and got a great trade at only 3k less than I paid for it after 60000km’s.
As for not being able to go topless the new...
I wasn’t aware of that Sirius feature. Thanks. Was not planning to renew it at all because I find it’s pretty crummy but the new one will have a 1 yr trial again.
The theft in this part of Canada are typically loaded into containers or stored in a warehouse before being shipped overseas.
There is no concern about them having my address info though as I live 500km/300miles away from where it was stolen.
It was stolen from a high theft region (Ottawa, Ontario). When ai go back in February I will be staying somewhere with underground parking.
Will have a look at the device you...
The wheels were stock Mojave, tires were Falken AT3W 315/70r17. I had put a .75 inch daystar rear coil spacer and a Teraflex 1 inch front spacer. The plan was to keep it simple. I was very happy with the Mojave that way but always had thoughts of 37's!
It is beautiful up/over there! I'm in Ontario and basically need to move to that part of Canada for the adventures I intend to continue with.
I also try not to rush trips when possible, I like to enjoy the days with no feelings of having to be somewhere! I slept with a shotgun beside me for...
Nice!! Those are some big Bull Moose! Hope they were playing nice.
Did you do the loop? Internet is telling me it is 116km long, with the longest portage being 2.5km. I double and sometimes triple carry on solo (me + senior dog), 2.5km isn't bad at all.
I had a bent shaft carbon Werner...
I hadn't heard of that spot before but thanks for sharing! I'm looking into moving to Northern BC for work in the New Year and this isn't far from one of the potential locations where I may end up living!
Gonna dig into it and see how it looks for the loop around the series of lakes!
I got lucky and only had my winch, bumper, Falcon stabilizer, 35's and canoe rack. I am very happy with my insurer at this time.
The canoe wasn't on the truck thankfully. Did 1100km over 29 consecutive days in Yukon, that canoe was my home for about a total of 40 days this summer! It felt...
I had initially purchased the M8000s for for my 2015 JK, then ran it on my JKU and two Gladiators and found it to be sufficient. On the fence about going to the Zeon series, if I do I’ll go with the 10k as it is only $30 more where I will buy from.
I like the light weight of the M8000 at 55lbs...
Will def post up a pic when I pick it up. Likely won't be until the 1st week of the New Year since I need to wait on the payout for the down payment. Here is a link to it: https://www.uniquechrysler.com/vehicles/2023/jeep/wrangler/burlington/on/55898727/?sale_class=new
As I posted in another thread my Jeep was stolen in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada last week while I was staying in a hotel in the west end. It is basically an epidemic of vehicle theft in Ottawa these days and has been for a couple years with no signs of slowing down. At one point Toyota Tacomas...
I see the Zone lift, I suggest some geometry correction brackets so it still drives nice without wandering if you go with that lift. Or some of the Mopar lift kit lower control arms, these will run you about $120 for the pair at the stealerships in Ontario.
