Did you happen to get part numbers for what is coming? My Mojave got stolen and I may be replacing it with a Rubicon, would love to update my seats to Mojave of course! Tnx.
I ran 285/75r17 on my Overland with the JKS lift and stock sport wheels. Lots of room, no rubbing anywhere when disconnected up front, I did have 2 inch bump stop extensions. Very nice middle ground between the 33 and 35.
Please tell me more about common sense…. Like maybe I shouldn’t travel for medical appointments and stay in a hotel? My Jeep typically doesn’t fit in the average garage underground parking.. An air tag isn’t going to do anything.
The hotel isn't sharing the video with me yet, police apparently need to request it. No idea how they got it. Ottawa is a hot spot for vehicle theft lately, the Jeep is likely in a container in Montreal now.
I'm 300 miles from home, total shit show.
I just had my Mojave stolen in Ottawa (Kanata Holiday Inn) last night! I live 500km from here right now... Brutal, I loved that Mojave! Now to deal with all the BS.
My mother was in my Jeep while I was in a store, somebody came by and handed her a duck, she loved the kindness of this simple social act :-) I used to think it was weird but there certainly is a positive side to it!
I almost always travel to purchase new vehicles. Saving thousands and getting a sweet road trip in just makes sense to me. On my Mojave I saved about 10k not buying with the local idiots due to a 6k higher trade value 300 miles away and a dealer that was motivated to make sales. It wasn't...
NIce! More specifically, I find that the Mojave rear has an extra bounce with no weight in the bed compared to my previous ZR2. I notice the bounce mostly on the road or bumpy but faster forest service roads. Maybe the extra weight of the cap gets you into the sweet spot that I felt I was in...
Great to hear you have a solution that you like! Were the Fabtech spring just endlessly back ordered?
Assuming you're using shock extensions with the factory Mojave shocks, how does the rear suspension feel? Any extra bounce in the rear or does it hold firm?
Thanks!
OP from other post regarding 37’s on Mojave wheels I believe you’re good to go. The Mojave wheels have different backspacing, this is where the slightly wider factory track width comes from.
When I had the saddle brown seats in my 2020 Overland I felt they stayed the 'cleanest looking' out of all my vehicles. I have the light grey in my Mojave now and wish I could have gotten the brown again. I have a dog so he bring all the dirt in!
Hand siping is great if you don't plan to keep the tires much longer and want to get one last winter out of them. Here is a pic of my old JK on Toyo MT's that I hand siped after a snowy 1300 mile road trip. The siping made a world of difference in packed snowy road performance. The issue I...
I've got about 35000 miles on my 315/70r17 Wildpeak AT3W's with a lot of those miles being off pavement, I started to notice the reduced traction in wet conditions soon as temps started going down early fall. I just dropped the PSI down to 31/30 and traction is improved but not like new. I...
