I noticed a code being thrown... something like the security key being missing. I think this is from the cable bypassing the security module. So I would assume the dealer could see this. I’m not sure why this would effect your warranty though unless damage was caused by a hacker...

Talked to dealership today and they said that the Jeep “definitely has some issue” and that they would be removing the valve covers to investigate further. I asked them if it was the left side but don’t have any other info yet.

There is a setting to turn this on (but not sure how that works) Nothing as far as on during blinker.

Have you had any warning lights associated with auto start/stop?

I thought about this as I have a similar drive. If it is a real problem it will be easier to find if it is worse! Damaging it wouldn’t be the worst thing ever!

Cost is the biggest benefit if JScan. All in it cost me $85. $19 for JScan license, $35 for security cable, $30 for OBDII adapter. It doesn’t have some of the bells and whistles but allows you to update for vehicle mods. I bought it to adjust for tire size. For $20 I can program another vehicle too!
