Is there a way to unlatch the latches from the inside? I don’t often, but sometimes I sleep in the bed when camping rather than brining a tent but couldn’t seem to figure out how to in latch them inside the bed.
That was a bit concerning when I was told that via email. I'd much prefer a full length strip of proper thickness to ensure a uniform spacing and no dimpling. This will also ensure when weight is put on the top that it wouldn't run into any issues.
I got it all apart tonight and there seems to be a lot back there. I’m not sure how you managed to squeeze it in and what you had to cut but it seems like that whole area is a collection of snap points for the body panels in the area. I couldn’t figure out what could be minimally cut there...
Based on how his mounts, would you say it would be equal to pull strength as the Warn? I like that Warn mounts to the frame ends rather than the side but not sure it makes a difference.
I have done it when the truck was on factory suspension and factory wheels/tires. It required two people, one on each side. Now that the truck is lifted and on 37s I'm not sure how that could be done without ladders or a hoist.
Funny on the spacer note. I had talked to the rep here on the forum and they had confirmed the RSI was now including a larger spacer with the Gladiator shells and to email customer support to get new ones. I emailed customer support and they said the exact opposite. They said they will not be...
