Looking at installing. In a perfect world, I think I want yellow...stay on....but flash won’t turn signal.

Strange. Mine have a plastic battery wedge. When I pulled it the horn beeped. But nothing happens at all when I open the doors. maybe the batteries are shot.

If warranty doesn’t cover it....and I would be SHOCKED....submit an insurance claim and simply say you damaged it washing it with a pressure nozzle. It’s not collision...should be comprehensive. Insurance covers stupidity all the time.
