The TSB is clear. Customer complains, they fix. Period.
I am waiting on parts and have been told Jan or Feb because they are doing so many of them. Each dealer only gets ONE kit every two weeks due to allocation.

People try to get stuff covered all the time like this. For example...I sell my JT. The shocks state “jeep” on them. The next owner experiences an issue and takes the truck in not knowing that the shocks were not OE.
OR someone buys FCA LED headlights and upgrades....things like that.
It’s even more confusing if you replace parts with stock jeep parts from another vehicle.
for example, if you put Rubicon shocks on a Sport and a shock leaks. The shocks are eligible to be replaced right? But when they pull the VIN, it won’t be the Rubi shocks.

Read the TSP. Hand it to them. All you need to do is complain. They have to fix it unless it’s out of alignment.

I have some concerns about the impacts of vehicles that have so much aluminum as it relates to the condition of the steel components. Long term these trucks should do great in regards to body panels....frames.....not so sure.

Ok....I have lots of experience in this area. I can offer my view. When it comes to these coatings, the quality of the coating and the prep work means EVERYTHING and yes....it’s expensive. A great job will be $2k. Takes a long time and must cure correctly.
