The Gladiator in FH5 is pretty lame I mean first...to convert from top closed to top open its actually a mod to the hood? WTF? And then it doesn't even count as a convertible so the games convertible functions don't work. Can't lift it. Biggest tires are "35s". .. Coulnt find any bumper...
I am fan of the Forza Motorsport and Forza Horizon series but for all the praise they get....they are not accurate representations of car design or car physics. Horizon series specifically is nothing more than a arcade "racer". Fun to mess around with but anyone that thinks they are some sort...
Here in Florida....I have my AC set to 64...which up until few days ago as worked perfectly....but now that the outside temp is actually dropping below that...it insists on full heat....which is not what we want...the system seems to binary...AC set to 64...outside @60....BAM crank up the heat...
I ran wheel spacers on my JK for over 10 years without any issue. If someone had given me the Jeep without telling me it had spacers I would have never known. Just don''t cheap out on them...I had Spidertrax.
I am getting ready to put 35inch tires on my JTR and keeping stock rims. If I have...
Well, my OE Falken MTs are starting to show signs they need to be replaced. Probably look at sometime after the first of the year. I have kept them properly rotated and all but looking like they wont make 30k miles. :( Really would like to go with 35s and stick with the Rubicon stock wheels...
I picked mine up in North Carolina and drove it back to Orlando Fl...didn't really worry about speed or anything....70ish on the I95. I did visit some family for a few days in NC so drove it around town ...so probably had 60 miles on it before I hit the interstate for trip home. No issues...
I get the data connection required thing I suppose....but I have yet to be anywhere where android auto google maps or waze did not work. I think maybe I have used the factory NAV once since i got the JT. No way I am spending $150 on an "upgrade" to an inferior navigation system that will...
np :)
For what it is worth....here in Florida, with the hammock in place the back seat area is plenty cool...my dogs sleep like babies when on road trips. I don't think those air vents in the center console do much. I keep my air set on auto to 64 (driver side) 68 (passenger side).
I have had this one for over a year now and it has been very durable...fits nicely....Chocolate Lab and Pit Bull approved. I also got the matching door covers.

They ended up replacing the transmission. So far so good...but to be honest I am constantly afraid something will happen.....when you have to replace a whole transmission so early in miles it doesn't leave a very good level of trust. I have noticed it seems to be a little rough/loud when...
Looking good. I think i might go with these as well for my JTR. At @28k miles my OE Falkens are getting noisy..especially at very low speeds (coming to a stop) for some reason.
I also think I get a 2-2.5 budget lift as well....but do not want to have to get new wheels.
This is something that has always baffled me. Go to any parking lot...and vast majority of what you see is white or some shade of silver/grey. Jeep has what 3 or 4? shades of silver/grey? My wife had a "grey" '2014 Cherokee that was fun to drive ...had no issues but she hated the fact that it...
Thanks.
Guess I will just go with my original plan and get some sorta powerbank (Jackery, etc) that allows passthru. So essentially use it as a make shift UPS for when bed outlet shuts off. Dont need a very big one to power cooler for a few hours at most.
Appreciate the response.
I was more curious if somehow the solar panel hookup would allow the bed outlet to stay "live" with engine turned off. Currently it shuts off when the engine if off. I take a electric cooler on road trips that I keep in the bed plugged into the outlet....but when we...
To be fair....just about all the "tube doors" I have ever tried were pretty much crap...didnt fit...didnt latch...rattled ...required me to perform variety of "modding" to get to remotely fit correctly....and were not cheap by any means. I am just done with them.
