I'm running the BFG K02. I live in Colorado and do a lot of snow driving and have had these on most of my trucks. I am getting 25-27 MPG, mostly highway miles. Diesel.

?? Just curious what this comment is based on?
I went through 2 sets of Nitto Terra Grapplers on my Commander. First were taken out by a boxcutter blade on the freeway (both on one side with one blade!) and discovered one of the remaining round tires had a blister on the inner sidewall. Warranteed all four. Rock punctured the middle of the tread on the new set while on a simple dirt road. Returned them at 2K miles and demanded BFG's for my trouble. Got a good deal for the swap, but they were garbage. Couldn't believe they were so easy to cut.

I was waiting for someone to speak up from CO. I currently have the stock wildpeak metric 33’s and want to go to barrow 35’s. How are yours on i70 going down a grade at speed in a snowstorm? I want a year round tire that also rock crawls reasonably well. I know. Tall order.

Any of these available in Load Range C?
I can confirm that the Falken Wildpeak AT3Ws do come in C load. I got mine from Discount Tire.

Edit: Disregard my post. I forgot the post was about 35s not 33s lol.

I haven't taken this truck down i70 in a snow storm yet. I have taken previous trucks (Ford Ranger, Dodge 2500) down i70 with these tires in 2x4 and never had a problem. I can let you know when I get up and down in the snow in this truck!

I'm in CO as well. I've run BFG AT KO2's on my jeep JL prior to my JT. I can't wait for the stock 33's to fall off so I can get these past the goalie (wife).

Yeah. My snow experience in ours was just today with the slushy dusting near the tunnel. A little icy, but no traction issues with the stock falkens. I’m leaving them on until spring, as I’ve little reason to add larger tires until wheeling season returns. It’ll probably take me that long to justify the expense to my wife anyway.

I understand all too well. I figure it’s strategic to not look seriously at it until spring.

Well, my OE Falken MTs are starting to show signs they need to be replaced. Probably look at sometime after the first of the year. I have kept them properly rotated and all but looking like they wont make 30k miles. :( Really would like to go with 35s and stick with the Rubicon stock wheels. On my JK and TJ I always ran BFG ATs....never had a reason to complain so probably going that way as well...or maybe the BFG MTs.

Nothing on the new Cooper rugged trek?
I have had them about 3k now in close to a 35….34.7 by Cooper web site anyway. Nice tire but the 3D canyon sipes pick up all kinds of goodies.
went back to ridge grappler
