Got Jeep back Friday afternoon. They replaced the transmission valve body. So far so good. Thou, it still seems a tad bit rough when first going from park to reverse.

We plan to be there on Sat. Relatively short drive for us. Look forward to seeing people again.

Heard back from dealer. Saying its the Transmission Valve Body. They are installing a new one tomorrow....hopefully. Still no clue what was wrong with it or caused it.

Yeah, its been running flawlessly for a year and now this. :( Hopefully, its not something major...but it sure did sound like it when it "bucked". :(

So had to take my JTR to the dealer. This morning when I was leaving the house....when the transmission (8sp auto) went to shift from 3rd to 4th....it could not...and "bucked"...Check Engine light lit up...was stuck in 3rd....even manual shifting did not work....could not get out of third...

New bumper, lift kit and bigger tires to help with any emotional stress caused. :)

Around here, Discount Tire are the only ones that would do alignment, balance or rotations on my JK that did not have max "OEM" tire size.

Still searching for dealer near me that will do this TSB without requiring me to leave it with them for days so they can determine if I need it. I just want to them to order the parts...schedule the install ..and do it. I mean seriously, this should not be this difficult...TSB and Jeep...

So, I have now had my JTR for a year and am starting to think about lift and tires sometime this year. I do not do anything serious....so looking to keep stock ride quality and shocks but would like to go up a tire size. I would like to keep the stock wheels. So will have any any issues...

Its more noisy than the panels...but not by as much as you might think. It does not bother me. 80mph going down the interstate....wife and I can have normal conversation....far cry from how it was with the softop JK. That said...only time it gets really "noisy" is if I happen to get in the...

I am averaging around 16.5-17. Its a heavy brick tent going down the road...I am ok with the MPG. My biggest complaint is with tank size/range. I would like to make some of my more frequent long trips without so many stops.

I love my Sunrider. Yeah it was pricey for what it is...but then again it is very well made...not a single leak...relatively quiet. But it is just so convenient and REALLY easy to use. Here in Florida, I consider it a must have.
