ok, I was getting 16ish mpg. SO last week I went on vacation and fueled up right before I left and reset the trip, then I went to Fuel economy b/c I planned to use cruise control and follow the fuel economy throughout the trip. At that point it dawned on me that I have NEVER reset the fuel...

There is no way that there should be this much variance in fuel economy in the same model year/engine truck. it makes no sense!

I am pissed. I am not seeing anywhere near the top end of the range on the sticker. I would love input from anyone on the site as to getting the most out of the mileage in the 6 speed.

Sport S 12K miles Dueller AT stock tires and wheels, 6 speed.....lucky to get 16.5 mpg. Range on the mileage always says 325+ at fill up and never get more than 280-285....Have considered turning off the engine start stop function and see if mileage changes.....
