Just use the window motors. That's what I do. Seems like a lot of switches when all they really needed was a toggle switch.....hot....cold....hot....cold.....easy.
I'm doing the Wi border to border trail (trans-wisconsin adventure trail) this year but would be all-in for a Mn border to border run. Put me on the list.
Yes. Both my JL and now the JT have been "sticky" to shift when new but both got much easier as I used them. The first few times going from 4 hi to 4 low, I thought I might need a young priest and an old priest to help. As many have said, it takes a little patience and practice to learn.

Didn't think I liked that color but damn...... that's nice..... Well played
As an aside, I FINALLY got to use the front locker on my jtr a couple days ago. Deep snow, pulling my teardrop trailer. It WORKS!
JL and JT hvac systems being the same, they, in my experience, issue the same level of performance. Think of the system as you would a 1936 Motorolla house radio; 36 knobs and switches with 2 settings. Mine has me choose between "heat of 1,000 hells" or "whatever the temperature is outside"...
Good to know. Thanks for the report. I really wanted the Falcon MT's but my lot queen came with the AT's. My previous experience with MT tires was that they sucked out loud on snow and ice. That said, I also think the Falcon AT's are a good snow tire up here in Wi...
My JTR with 2" front and rear lift (Iron Rock Offroad). Love the lift! Stock Rubicon wheels and (stock) Falcon at tires. I like the combo and have no designs to go larger. When I need tires, I'll go up to a 285/75/17. I've never been a fan of Tonka truck sized tires. Looks silly to me, not to...
I'm posting a quick photo of my commo mount. I'm using the quick disconnect mount from quadratec. I mounted my enormous, but great CB to the quick disconnect mount, then mounted my GMRS radio to the CB. Both are powered by tapping into the utility outlet (cigarette lighter) on the dash. Haven't...
I have been putzing with a cleaner way to install a switch panel AND phone/tablet mounts AND clean up my usb charging cable rat nest. I think I'm getting pretty close here.
I started with the MLC-6 kit and really like the way it mounts and functions. I've found the only downside to be the fact...
Your truck looks great and more importantly, seems methodical and well thought out. Those of us who pull trailers (mine: 1600 lbs teardrop camper) need to balance lift and tires with road manners and safety. Your lift height looks awesome and I'm envious, but that's too much for my trailer...
I'd like to second the post for the Iron Rock spacer lift kit. First, it's a really nice high quality kit. Welding, finish and fit quality are the best I've ever seen. The shock spacers are beefy and we'll made. (I also wanted to keep my factory Rubicon shocks).
I installed it myself in my...
Just picked up my new JTR and moved from the JL forum. Miss the JL but for my needs the JT makes more sense. First week of ownership has been back and forth to dealer logging data for the 0300 trouble code with a side order of ess. I am NOT worried as it's running great and no other symptoms...
