If you like your bumper I also found this interesting thread on the JL Forum. Check out what he does with the stock plastic bumper

It looks like they used the stock steel Rubi bumper with the Maximus winch plate, no additional mods (on the bumper/Winch-light bar and bully bar). That came out beautiful- This is a definite- if i had the money build. Congratulations.
The lift is a Rough Country 2.5 Front Coils and Shocks, Did it myself- never did anything like that before- followed the youtube videos and it was surprisingly easy, took about 3 hours. $259 bucks,
The Rims are Trail Master 17x9 with ProComp 35x12.5 MTs, $1560 rims, tires, mounted and...
Welcome- Nice to meet another Overland- we are definitely in the minority here. I've had mine for 2 weeks and just did the rim's, 2.5 lift/level, (Spings & Shocks) and the whole LED light package on the front end- adding a sub and Tonneau this week.
Where is this from? Fabricated? I'd be interested in the build- I like the factory bumper and love this setup. Any info on the picture and build would be greatly appreciated.
I've been looking for the Blinker bulbs without having to install a load balancer/ Resistor inline or as a separate unit. All the ones i've seen on here will work for everything except the blinkers. Did you find cheaper ones that are one unit?
Found em' Get these for the turns and the 10 buck Oracles for the others.

The side indicators on the taillights are LED like the Overland and Rubicon, the backup, turn and Brakelights are not LED. There is a kit for 69 bucks that has the fan, resistor and led turn bulbs- I cant seem to find it. But the other bulbs are 10 bucks a piece from Oracle lIghting (sponsor...
I'm going to post these because holy crap what a difference- Bump up to the first poster and his original links at the beginning of this thread. $96 bucks and seriously money well spent. Took less than an hour, a flathead screw driver and a single socket.
Before, during and after.
Interesting, I did check today with my old search list and they are about 1k more expensive than 2 weeks ago. There is still a Gobi one and an orange one at Meador in Dallas for 43k, and a couple more local to Houston for 44k black and red. Most are back up over 45k.
Thats a great Deal, I have been looking around here but cheapest I've seen is 1400 without shipping. I am actually pretty disappointed in the cost associated with any of the tops- Similar tops (bimini, and anything from Bestop) are twice the price as a JKU, for half the materials. Like the...
if i push up on the hardtop above my head the rattle stops- its interesting in the JKU you had the screws that held that top tight, on the JLU and JY theres no screws and it seems to be pretty loose.
I put a piece of foam between the bar and the top and it stopped the rattle, it wont work with...
Is anyone else having thier hard top rattle when you turn up the bass in the stereo? I have the 7inch and stock stereo, it rattles like crazy when playing anything with bass. I'm one week into the jeep? is this normal?- My JKU had no issues with rattles with the Alpine system.
