keep checking on FB marketplace. I picked up a twill premium for 1250 from a guy with dual tops option on his JTR but didn't want one, it was still sealed and in box. There were two on FB one for 1500 and one for 1400. There are deals to be had. It installed in about 5 min once I got the back...
Thats exactly what its for. Quadratech has a youtube video where they install the premium soft top on the JL and they show how the rolled up back window rolls up and is held by the snaps.
I had the Lange JKU system, they make a conversion kit to JT for the system for 100 bucks. I'll let you know when it arrives next week how it works (they sent me the wrong one, so they are replacing it). So far mine is sitting on the rubber blocks on a furniture pad in my garage.
I'm in Houston and we get hundreds of inches of water a year (sometimes that much in week). During the heaviest downpour where you have to stop diving on the freeway because you can't see (did I mention it rains a lot here?) I have never had an issue in my JK from the hardtop- My Trektop NX on...
Thank you for responding. I agree it would not be a simple install. I have looked into the top plate- which would work for a rig that doesn't do any towing, but blocks about 35% of the radiator area depending on the winch, so on the jT would probably be a nonstarter...
Yeah you have an actual problem. I drive mine one fingered, or thumbed. It has a 2.5 in lift with 35's and no stabilizer. It's a bit squishier than my JKU with a stabilizer, but nothing like the death wobble video above. I'd get that to your dealer ASAP.
One of the OP's posts said he stuck electrical tape over the front lens on the Fog bulbs (not the lenses)and it fixed the problem. The headlights have the diffuser for the front facing portion the fogs do not.
When I traded in my JKU, my daughter was inconsolable. She's 9. She loved that thing more than any of her toys., never wanted to drive in our other cars. My 12 year old boy really liked it but it was the girl who thought is was the coolest thing ever.
She insists that the Gladiator is a Jeep...
BTW did anyone else do the RC registration and find out it's made by Hypertek? I Clicked on register now and it took me to the Hypertek registration page.
Any of the open ports behind the glove box. Remove the glove box, then put the white plug into any port, plug the USB port into the media plug, hit the igntion button twice without your foot on the brake and you're good to go.
I have seen a few forum strings out there for modding the non-rubi bumper (mostly plastic) with a fabricated winch plate. Based on some of the posts on the JL forum it appears that there is a demand for this product and it will crossover between the JL and JT. I want to keep the stock bumper and...
If you want to see a stock Rubicon Dyno on stock wheels and tires, and then on 37's take a look. It's a bit depressing.
Now if you want to see a mutliple mod setup, there is no dyno but he does do Tuners, Air intake and different AFE exhausts- and compares, 0-60 times. Its actually a pretty...
This weekend further re-iterated why you need a real top here in East Texas- 0% chance of rain 85 and sunny, Until it wasn't. Not a single forecast had any rain, but at 3pm it was dumping and half hour later 80 and sunny again, and 6 pm same thing.
I Finally found a premium top here in Houston...
