If you do this with the rears, I think you need to do the fronts as well... I have rears done (it's one bulb for brake/tail/turn) and I get turn signal out error every time I start the truck even with the Tazer set to LED. Not doing the fronts until I do my aux switches this weekend... no reason to pull the inner fender twice.
So your saying do the front and rear turns in Led Bulbs to keep from getting the error message. So you only need 2 bulbs for the rear, 1 for brakes/Tail/turn and another for backup.

Yeah, rear brake/tail/turn is one and backup is obviously another. The corner light I understand is LED already. They work just fine and I don't get the fast blink or anything but I do get the error. I'm going to do my fronts this week and if it gets rid of the message, I'll keep them until I replace everything with OEM LED parts and if not, I'll probably throw the standard bulbs back in.

Out of curiosity what bulb type did you use for the rear tailights. I saw some used 7443 but Extreme has 3157 bulbs for sale for the JT

I found the manual was wrong on both because it wants a 3157 brake/tail/turn and a 7440 reverse. Those would be a T25 and T20 socket respectively. The reverse bulb that came out was a T10 which is also a 912 (that I used). It was a snug fit but it works fine. The brake bulb was a T20 and a 7443 has worked fine for me. Oracle sells a 7443 as well so I'm fairly certain the 3157/T25 is wrong.

I just used Philips bulbs off Amazon because I have slightly more confidence they're not just the typical Chinese crap that floats around on Amazon and eBay. They were slightly cheaper than places like Oracle as well.

edit: I actually took a look and realized there's a bit of room in the front to fold down the flap and install the bulbs... the fronts are definitely 7440 turn and 7443 DRL/marker but they didn't fix my error issue. I guess the Philips bulbs aren't the right resistance even with the Jeep set to LED on the Tazer so I recommend avoiding them.

Interesting, I only have the fronts done and no error- I'm eager to see if there is an error with both sets done.

I'm fairly certain it has to do with the bulbs. I bought Philips just on the assumption it wasn't generic Chinese crap and had some sort of QC involved but I think they don't give enough of a load for the CAN bus system to recognize that they're there.

I did the front turns with the 7440's I originally ordered for the reverse lights per the manual and, as I mentioned in my edit, I still get the error so I'm fairly certain it's the bulbs. There's still no hyperflash other than the indicator on the dash but all are working and I get the error on startup.

I ordered some 3157 bulbs to see if they'll fit the rears since that's the spec in the manual and if they do, I'll move the 7443 bulbs to the front drl/marker lights. I'm hoping the 3157's fit and have a bit more resistance to overcome the error.

Report back on the 3157 bulbs, I'm curious if they work or not. I can source them locally in led red. I already have the 7443 in the running lights. I thought the turn was 7443 amber, that's what I was going to get for it. I haven't checked the manual so I could wrong

That's why I'm doing it... I figure most have done the Oracle or factory stuff and at least this will give an definite answer as to which bulbs fit since there are cheaper options. Amazon is slow shipping right now but I'll report back in a few weeks when I get them in.

Yeah I'm been trying to find everything locally because of Amazon's slow shipping. The amber ones are impossible to find for some reason. I almost rode a hour to get them but I may just see if advance can order them for me. Normally they can get stuff for me next day.
