All OEM tow packages in the Gladiator have the same heavy duty tow package options, with a bigger generator, added cooling, and use the same hitch receiver assembly. The Max Tow package on a Sport adds longer axles front and back, the 4.10 rear/front, and heavy duty progressive springs and shocks, which allows for the increase in towing capacity.
cheers

The Max Tow hitches are rated at 765 lbs. tongue weight. It is 10% of the 7,650 lb. max trailer weight. This may be due to the overall payload/tow rating but it could also be a stouter hitch...

...wider...
And both front & rear differentials are 4.10 instead of 3.73.
Might be a bit awkward if only the rear was 4.10...

If your JT came factory with a towing package, it has a Class IV receiver hitch.

If your JT did NOT come factory with a towing package, it does NOT have a Class IV receiver hitch.

Trim level has nothing to do with the Class IV receiver hitch, option groups do.

I don't know how or why a Class II bumper hitch is included, but some have these factory.

Both the Class IV and Class II are attached to a rear cross member that ties the frame rails together and strengthens the rear end.

High Altitude (North edition) has this stupid class II hitch standard..
